I have a feeling that Fredi is going to have something to say about the sloppiness in the in-field before Spring Training is over if the bobbles and drops continue.
If Kimbrel can’t save, if Mather ain’t Diaz, if Chip can’t go, if D-Lowe doesn’t pitch like he did in Sept, if our CF, whoever it is, can’t hit better than .200, if Freeman flops, if J-Hey has a sophomore swoon, if McCann starts off like he did last year at the plate, and continues like he finished last year throwing to second…well…buckle up for 100….losses.
“Conrad might not make the team…….Maybe Matt Young….Depends on spring training.”
Connie Makes The team This Year, Bank On It, His bat off the bench was too valuable last year, without Connie on the team last year, we don’t make the playoffs
Agreed on that part on B-Macc, But B-Macc will have a Coming out Party This Year, Bank On It, especially since he lost weight and has come to Camp Ripped
And the most important thing About B-Macc this year is UGG. B-Macc won’t be pitched around like he was last year when Lee and Trouble T-Roy (Glaus) was hitting behind them
Jim and Don were talking about how some folks were predicting the Phillies would win 115 games this year. But, their line-up is extremely lefty heavy, which plays into the Braves hands with their tough lefty bullpen (and starter in Minor if he makes it).
Sure Braves Play the Phillies tough From April til July, but the Braves haved sucked against the Phillies in late August/September Games the Last 5 years when It counts…Last Year was Bold Proof…
Weird… They just showed a replay where the ump at third base pointed at the third baseman and (presumably) called obstruction. Guess it doesn’t matter though if you don’t touch third.
Toma … I don’t disagree that the Phils have owned the Braves late in the year. But, let’s be fair in 2010. Braves had just lost some key starters when they rolled into Philly. But for a couple of critical errors by non-starters, Braves might have swept the Phils instead of the other way around. Same story in Atlanta to close the season.
