Reading the box score over on mlb.adsgalore.braves.moreads.com I saw Bowman worked himself into the line up. When is O’Brien going to get a chance to take some cuts?
DOB– more important than Kimbrel’s fastball though that is important is that according to the producer of Boardwalk Empire, Paz de la Huerta will be back for the second season. When asked if the nude scenes were difficult, she said Steve Buscemi was naked as well. Steve added that he definitely did not have a problem with the scenes with Paz (Lucy in the show).
I like Buddhists though. Especially the ones who wear the red robes, and live at the Shao-lein temple. We should have at least one Kung Fu master on the team.
Well, Varvaro is straight from the slums of Shaolin, and he pitched well today.
Not a bad start for the Bravos today. Lot of guys had good days! However, you can not walk that many batters and be a closer. I don’t care how hard you throw.
I hope Billy Wagner stays in shape. I envision Chipper, Ross and Moylan making a trip to Virginia during the All-Star break and begging Billy the Kid to make one last stand. And he finally relents–seeing one last chance for that elusive ring!
Ok, time to prep my Jalepeno Chicken bites, brb…I’m in a Somber mood so that means I will be cooling out to some old Tony Toni Tone and Bell Biv Devoe…
Not like that. He’s this middle-aged man in a sweater who goes to all the UGA basketball games and is always jumping up and down, trying to pump up the crowd.
I was at the game today. Got my picture taken with Johnny Venters and an autograph from Jair. I’ll take any questions you may have but just letting you know, I left to go wait by the bus after Martinez got that double play.
After Some Pinot Grigo, I’m Chillax again, Cooling out to That old Janet Jackson “Funny How Time Flies” That song is sooo Good She starts Speaking Romantic French at the end…Definitely in my top 50 R&B songs of all time..I would bump it on Valetines day, but I don’t believe in that day…
Here’s some things we know, or what we imagine about this team – we ain’t scoring a ton of runs, we’re not a speedy team, and we don’t have starters that’ll throw many, if any, complete games. We need a good pen, especially a solid closer. I’ll leave it at that since it’s the first practice game of the year.
Just Got Done Bumpin That old T.I. “Top Back Remix” That song was sooo Good it was on A Chevy Commercial, Not To Mention the video to it gets you hooked…That Song Is Ideal for Driving in Atlanta Traffic..The Horn in that Song Rules!
Tomahawkin, I guess I’m just a tough crowd. I really like what this team has right now. Plenty of good pitching, a lineup that should’ve been improved even without a Dan Uggla (now it’s obviously stronger), and they should just have more confidence coming off a playoff season.

Damn, think about how many games are decided by the late inning relief guys? Errors will happen, but some we’ve made are unexceptable.
Co-Sign…Our Team Defense is Garbage…I can live with a bad defense (excluding the playoffs because thats a different matter) because our teams have had Garbage Defense since Furcal and A. Jones Left…
I should’ve explained what I meant saying our lineup should’ve been improved even before Uggla. For one, Jones appears healthy and Mac has dropped some pounds. Plus the fact I think Heyward should be even better, Freeman isn’t a health scare like Glaus and surely McLouth can’t go anywhere but up from his last few seasons with us. Can he?
Anyways, yeah, Uggla changes a lot in our lineup I think. One guy, one bat, but it’s powerful and a guy like McCann or Heyward won’t feel like they have to hit 500 foot bombs every other at bat.
Tomahawkin, Heyward is a solid RF, Freeman looks slick at 1st, Gonzalez is apparantly better at SS than what we saw half the year with us, Prado I bet will make a solid LF.
Sad, but that’s about all I feel good about on the field. Other spots are shakey. That’s not good. Not at all.
In what area? Not 2nd. Not 3rd. Not Catcher. Not SS. Apparantly not center either since it looks like Nate has that job. Nowhere is it going to be improved except for probably LF.
They could tighten up on it with maybe more drills, etc., but it won’t be improved imo.
Ward, I don’t remember Glaus costing us any games playing 1st. I do remember him digging out plenty of Chipper’s, Yunel’s and Gonzalez’ sh** throws though.
While Gonzalez is obviously no Ozzie Smith, he was ranked the best defensive SS in the post-season last year. His defense is fine–not stellar but respectable. I would prefer to see a better OBP.
