Tomahawkin … I was just giving you a hard time. No hard feelings. As the Yogi said, though, “It ain’t over til it’s over.” It’s one of the many things that makes baseball so great.
He possessed Fredi in the ninth, making him leave Abreu in although his pitching was disastrous.
Damn, I knew it. Don’t the Braves have a sense of urgency? I bet Fredi will say something like, “It was a good start to spring training. We saw a lot of good things out of different people. Hinske put a charge in one and JJ threw it well.”
Well guess what Fredi? You didn’t win. The PHILLIES won! Against the Yankees! That’s why they’re going to the World Series and the Braves are losers.
Don’t get me started on Bud Selig. I like Buddhists though. Especially the ones who wear the red robes, and live at the Shao-lein temple. We should have at least one Kung Fu master on the team.
Today was a good day in all. We saw that we have some really talented position guys trying to make their way aboard. All the major league pitchers, besides Kimbrel, had good days. And we did all this without the heart of our order (Prado, Jones, Uggla).
“Tomahawkin … I was just giving you a hard time. No hard feelings.”
lol, I know dude, You know We Go Back…I’m Just Glad it wasn’t a Regular season game, I would’ve gotten btch slapped by McFann, RHR, and Soph for Ballgaming it at the start of the inning…
Thanks Tomahawkin. I promise…no more politics. Can’t wait for 2012 though.
More If-Then statements.
If JJ continues what he showed today, If Matt Young makes this team, If Freddie Freeman continues to take what pitchers give him and hit it to all fields, If Ski keeps on being Ski…then watch out…they might win 90+ games again.
Like I predicted to Bowman/Schultz, soon as we went downstairs to try to avoid crowd, chaos ensued. Watched last inning from stands. Willie freakin’ Harris two-run bomb off Broadway, on a pitch right down Broadway (rim shot)
Some good takeaways today. Clearly you don’t manage these games to win…you manage these games to see who has got what. Agree with the Matt Young fans…he’s got something we need on this team.
Fab 5 Freddie (Freeman) Is The Autozone Player of the game…He’s Like the Kotchmeister with more Power…If he keeps Clowing like this then I will nominate him for hitting second and Hoss 6th…
Funny thing is, Willie gave an interview just before he came into the game talking about how he didn’t want to try to hit home runs this year…said he was around Adam Dunn too much. The Mets announcers then rattled off about 8 times where Willie made a defensive play that beat the Mets over the past few years. Hats of to Willie from Cairo.
Something about Willie and Wes Helms…I HATE when those guys face us in a close and late.
