Warning: overused music plug.

DOB- If you’re in the mood for a new band, check out Young The Giant. They’re up your alley. I haven’t turned them off my iPod since I was introduced to them about 3 weeks ago.

I know BC was a god, but you actually gotta feel good about the Braves. I’m not sold on Hammels/Oswalt being better than JJ/Hanson (if they’re 3/4). Phils are much older and Werth is gone. NL West may not be too strong and WC seems to be 1 of 5 teams. Brewers, Cards, Braves, Reds, Phils. And if Fredi makes more aggressive moves during games than BC…I like the Bravos chances to reach the playoffs again. The Phils may turn out to falter more than anyone thinks.

I’m not giving the East to the Phillies.
They might be the very best on paper, but the games are played in the dirt and grass.
GO BRAVES!!!

DOB, Why hasn’t there been any talk trading for or signing a backup at short? If Diory or Hicks are our backup, we’ll expect a shortstop who’s going to hit under the Mendoza line…
Why haven’t Bobby Crosby or Cristian Guzman been mentioned or anyone for that matter?
