Does anyone know why on earth I can’t watch this video – just because I live outside the US? That’s just dumb. I know it’s not AJC’s fault, but why on earth can’t I see simple videos like this? I live in a former Communist country although this policy seems to rekindle such thoughts.

Dave, always appreciate the updates. Video is cool but a couple of friendly suggestions. It appears you may be using a Skype setup but in any case it appears you are peering into a pensieve. Head tilted slightly back while looking down. Unflattering. I would suggest sliding your bottom back from the camera and lean forward from the waist, lowering your chin. This will remove the distortion which at the moment has you looking all chin and mouth. Just my 2 cents.

Would rather have seen Noah Coslov interview DOB after a week or so into ST as opposed to before DOB left for FL. I wouldn’t imagine DOB’s opinion change any but maybe watching Fredi a week into ST might have offered more perspective.

Everyone needs to see Dave O’Brien hard at work… If you have not seen it, go to mlb.com and then to the atlanta braves page and watch the interview video of Fredi Gonzalez with Dave O’Brien sitting right next to him Yawning… HAHAHAHA… Great stuff…

Question: Why was Freddie let go from the Marlins? I remember hearing something about them feeling like they had all the pieces in place and it was up to him to make it work, but something must have gone wrong for them to dump him in mid-season. Doesn’t appear that he was held in as high of esteem there as here. Maybe they thought he was too green after having that old guy be so successful? (Who was that guy?) I hope Wren has addressed that issue and put guys around him that will help with whatever was lacking in Florida. Thoughts?

We’re filming a new one on Thursday. Which reminds me, better shave that day….
We knocked out three of those videos in one day right before I came down. That’s just how they wanted to do it.

DOB – is there anyone you can pester about making these vid’s available outside the US/can you ask AJC to re-post/mirror them on youtube? Keeping up with the Braves is keeping me sane over here in “the sandbox” and I appear to be perma-blocked from viewing the vids because my IP address is in a middle eastern country…
