It is a nasty virus, but I have neither the time or the money to get it fixed…UGH!

It is an old, worn out POS computer that I hate and would love nothing more then to throw it off a building into traffic and watch it get run over by a big rig, but, alas, I cannot do that because I would be unable to replace it.

No internet, no e-mail, and it took me three attempts just to get the damn thing to shut off…

cab, well it semi works. It’s better to have a semi working computer than a computer that is completely dead. Hell, if you don’t break it completely you can possibly take it in to get repaired. Get its parts replaced if you need to.

How fun! They’re smaller than Carolina Wrens…I’ve seen a couple, but they’re rare for us, too. Lark Sparrows are handsome little birds! I’ve never seen one of those…congrats!

Even after having an external backup hooked up to my computer, I spent about 2 hrs this morning copying things to disks. Never used to do that until I learned…..the hard way.

OOOHH yes…my Brother’s going through some of that now. We’ve had our big computer crash twice, and have lost some stuff lost, but thankfully Dad’s worked with computers enough to know to get us an external thingy a few years ago. We haven’t lost any photos, I don’t think…ha, though we nearly did once when the external was acting weird…but uh, I think that was ’cause we unplugged it the wrong way a few too many times…

I tried removing the virus- didn’t work, and now I can’t open it again
My stepson just got one of the “fake anti-virus” virus it had the same symptoms(denial of service and refuse to shut down)…it was fake AVG it looked real,but it disabled the actual anti virus software ,I re-formated and reinstalled windows rather than removing it.

Mexico Beach sounds about right.
I remember telling people, back home, when I first moved here that it was along way to a fast food joint. Now they are moving right along with the Walmart less than a mile from my house. I wonder if Mike Hucklabee and his wife will shop there after they finish building their 11,000 sq ft “little beach cottage” just down the beach road.

Yeah man, I have always loved fishing the skinny waters. There was some great fishing in shore and off before everybody and their brother started coming here. Now….. lord, so many boats. People come from all over during cobia season. 40 footers with giant towers cruising along the beach site fishing for cobia for about five or six weeks. Only place in the world you will see that.
I’ve has some good times fishing you neck of the woods, too. Backwaters of Pine Island Sound, Reds and Snook, oh yeah. I caught a 40 inch snook on 6 lb test down there once. Caught the largest tarpon I’ve ever seen or heard of in one of those little passes, Redfish maybe, not the big pass.

I just came in and turned on the TV and there was Rulon Gardner 2000 USA Olympic Gold Medal winner on the Biggest Lose show on NBC.
If you don’t remember him, he upset some undefeated Russian to win the Grecco Roman wrestling. Yeah, the real kind.
I had heard he had lost his big toe to frostbite in a snowmobile accident and maybe that’s what got him started in his weight gain
Anyway, I’m pulling for him.
