Rehabbing or hunting? Not a tough choice either. Could definitely have made it to an afternoon to sign a few autographs and meet fans. Rehab is not a 8 hour a day job.
Personally I don’t care what he’s doing but one thing I think we can both agree on is that neither of us know exactly what he is doing but seeing as he did the caravan last year and usually does some fan events every year i’m just throwing it out there that maybe, just maybe this year he isn’t doing it because of his rehab. I mean, it would make perfect sense especially given the seriousness of his injury at his age and the fact that this could be his career right here.

Jake W – you are right and so Tom. I’m just stirring the pot a little. I’m not a big fan of Chipper “the person” and I believe his days of being an effective player are over. He has been a great player in the past. I just believe he is a huge Prima Donna.
All that said as a Braves fan I hope he one good year left in him.

Most of the Brian Auger I like is from his early days, late 60’s – early 70’s. A lot of what’s on YouTube is his later stuff. Now, I’m sure there are those that prefer that, but I like his earlier works that are mostly instrumental. Some of the early Auger I came across on YouTube has bad audio quality.
Try this one, it’s early and sounded pretty fair. It’s called “Brain Damage”.

No problem here, I usually try to give people the benefit of the doubt because its so easy to assume the worse but I have never personally met any of the current braves and to be honest I like it that way. Meeting people can lead me to form opinions of them like you have about Chipper.
Quite a few athletes in every sport could probably fit the “prima donna” label but part of the reason I think they do act as though they are above us is because a lot of fans treat them that way. I’m not one of those fans and I personally don’t get much out of the personal appearances but I can understand why a lot of fans like them and i’m sure a lot would have loved to see Chipper on the caravan. Hopefully he’s missing it for a good reason because like you said it doesn’t take much.

The Falcons look great. I’m glad Ryan threw to Fitzgerald. As much as I despised D Hall I appreciate his game today. Happy for Gonzalez to get one in too. The Pro Bowl is an exhibition but it is rewarding for the best to receive this week after a long hard season.

The big game is the reward for the Steelers and Packers. I’m sure that these guys today would much rather have played next week. The ultimate is the Super Bowl what they all play for so they are far ahead of these guys.
Ben has a fireplace big enough for a person to walk into at his house.
I’m sure he did not need to take a plane ride that far or risk getting hurt.
Aaron seems to be focused and didn’t need the disruption at this point.

You probably are going to explain that the male wren chooses several prospective nesting cavities, and places some twigs in each one. Then, the female inspects each site, chooses one, and then finishes the nest.

Year after year, those pesky “Ginny” WRENS try nesting in my wife’s floral wreath hanging on our front door. Messy little critters. Have to constantly run them off to the azaleas ten feet away.

But you’re pretty correct about the nests—they build a couple decoy (”dummy”) nests, to confuse predators/to let the Mommy Wren choose. House Wrens do it more-so than other Wrennies, but our little buggers fooled us last year. What a dirty trick!
But I was definitely NOT calling my babies dummies!

Oh…yeah, definitely.
But they’re actually rather smart! And SUCH cuties…they’ve got such attitudes, too—always making a ruckus, or mumbling to themselves about the crummy seeds…hilariousness.
They don’t migrate, so if the winter is harsh, there just won’t be many around.
That’s for sure. That don’t do well in extreme cold, poor babies.
When we had all that snow a couple weeks ago, I worried about my little guys. But they came out tougher than ever!
