P-Town… If the way the Pack played the Patriots in NE is any indication of where they are we should see two teams colliding at the peak of their seasons and make for a great game. Remember we almost beat NE WITHOUT AARON ROGERS. Imagine if he had played….. Sunday should be a great one.

We can go back and forth all week but I guess we will see on Sunday what will happen. All I know is you have had a unbelievable amount of luck this year to get some of your wins and you played the Panthers while we played the Falcons which helped out as well. I think we both know who the better team is as far as talent and I live in Chicago so all I keep hearing is how Bears fans want to win this game to keep us out because they don’t want to play the Packers the first round. I’m not going to talk trash because that is all I do around here to friends and family who still believe the Bears are better. I will let them and you see for yourself on Sunday. Division Champs or no division champs if the Packers get in and play like they did against the Giants this past Sunday there isn’t a team they can’t beat in the whole NFL and in wouldn’t even be a contest against the Bears, it would be a blowout.

RE: The Fighter…In an interview with Dan Patrick, Mark Wahlberg said that he had been trying to get people to make this movie for a long time. Finally he had to independently get all of the funding to make it.
Then I also heard on NPR this morning that even after Universal (or whatever production company it was) bought it, they still would not invest their own money into advertising it.
Ultimately I thought it was excellent as well. Christian Bale COMPLETELY STOLE the show, similarly to the way Daniel Day Lewis as Bill the Butcher stole Gangs of New York.

C’mon your going to say something to me about excuses and then you come out and say not wearing the proper cleats at a home game when the home team of all people should know what condition the field is in. That’s a lame excuse for your showing against the Pats…you were demolished by a better, more prepared team on your home turf with the home crowd on your side in a blizzard. The visitors had no problem moving the ball in that weather. The Patriots have more talent on their team and it showed, especially on offense. There is a big difference between QB’s like Brady, Rodgers and QB’s like cry-baby Culter who game after game throw stupid picks for TD’s because he thinks his arm is good enough. That will be the reason the Bears will not get far.

Interesting about Wagner still not filing the paperwork or the Braves raising hell about it.
If they could swing the $$$$$, I’d love to see another season of him closing things out. Not only was he excellent, but another ear of development for Kimbrel and Venters would be great – even though I’m not nearly as worried as some about their abilities to do the job.

Dude, I in fact can’t even take credit for that comment as it was the announcers on CBS who said the Bears didnt have the right cleats…
Something that they couldn’t properly fix til halftime, as those who change out cleats know theyre not too easy…
Anyways, they played much better in the 2nd half but if I recall, they gave up 34 in the 1st half so it didn’t really matter.
Like I said after that as well, the Pats are by far the best team in the NFL…but saying waaaahhhh, we got the Falcons and you got the Panthers…you play the schedule you’re dealt…Besides, you guys played the 49ers and we ended up w/ Seattle, which should have been a W, but is a whole lot better than SF.
Also, for you being a Pack fan, you’re not too knowledgeable about history…Cutler is pretty damn close to someone the Pack used to have that they loved greatly…and I assure you, Cutler’s arm is one of, if not the best in the NFL…all the analysts have said as much…
And if we need a play to win a game, I have no problem giving him the ball and letting him tuck one into a tight area, as I’d rather go all out, than be half-*ssed, have zero confidence and throw the ball out of bounds.
Oh, and Cutler has thrown 12 TD passes in the last 5 games, including 4 v Philly and 4 vs the Jets, whom if I remember correctly are two of the better defensive teams in all of football.
Besides, I would hope Rodgers would have a little better numbers and do better in their offense…I mean they have a better receiving core don’t they? They’re veterans aren’t they? They have been together longer haven’t they?
Of course if JP gets to him, it won’t matter…you may want to head up to Lambeau and show him how to get back home…

It has been proven that the Pats players are a product of that system…
Do you think anyone would know who BenJarvis Green-Ellis or Danny Woodhead are if they were somewhere else?!
What about Deion Branch? He tanked in Seattle and had to go back to NE to resurrect his career…
The Pats are who they are on offense because of Tom Brady and great preparation and play schemes…
Also, I feel like in the playoffs they are beatable if the offense can be stopped, because their defense while they have flashes of brilliance, is very succeptible to the big play.
While they say everyone has a shot, I see only 3 teams with a legit shot at beating New England in the playoffs.

Wow! Please take off your homer glasses. Your saying Rodgers numbers are better because of his surroundings? I haven’t met one Bears fan up until now who has said they would rather have Cutler over Rodgers regardless of the receivers. Rodgers’ arm is just as good as Cutlers except that Rodgers is must smarter and WAY more accurate. And then you compare Cutler to Favre…you lose all respect to me right there because the only thing they have in common is good arms and all the picks they throw which if you knew anything is how you lose football games. Eagles secondary is terrible and the Jets have one good corner, if you look at the Packers defense they are a top ranked defense with a great ability to cause turnovers whether by picks or fumbles. They caused 6 turnovers against the Giants, stopped the run against better running teams than the Bears, and forced teams to throw on them with Woodson, Collins, and Williams in the secondary while Matthews and Raji provide pressure on the QB. Not to mention all the blitz schemes Capers throws out there. If I were you I would call Lovie and tell him to sit your almighty Cutler before he receives his second concussion via Clay “the beast” Matthews and knocks him out of the playoffs, not that you had a chance anyway. Cutler as good as Rodgers…not that some funny s#!t.
