Sorry, cab. I just figured it might be fed screws and nuts. But I’ll be the first to admit I don’t know much about the care of robot dogs.

You make it sound like it’s a language!
Yes, we are.
Watching MNF on TV, cricket on the comp. and commenting on a baseball blog.

It might as well be a foreign language! I was trying to figure out what it all meant, but gave up at about the second sentence :)

Cricket is certainly a foreign language to Americans. I have a friend here with whom I take an extended Baseball trip every year and I was trying to explain cricket to him once and he gave up when I told him that batsmen did not have to run when they hit the ball.

They run when they want to and so if they hit it far enough and away from a fielder they can choose to run according to how far the ball goes. The Melbourne Cricket Ground is so big that they there have been several all run 4’s in this game, which is quite rare.

I went to a Gaelic Football game when I was in Ireland, and all I could figure out was that it is sort of a combination of rugby and soccer…it was fun, but had no idea what was going on :)

And I have seen cases where the fielders would rather let it run to the boundary than chase it because it is pointless anyway.Could end up being 5 otherwise.

I have to admit trying to explain a game that takes 5 days to play (with over 30 hours of actual playing time) that can still end in no result is very hard unless you have been brought up with the game.

Cricket will always be my favourite game, I played it for 20 years until I left the UK in 1995. I came to the US in 2004 and have been a fan of Baseball since then, I like games where players have to think rather than react and I think that Baseball is a great example.

Eh, every program has cheaters somewhere, it’s just who gets caught first. You know damn well Penn State, Michigan, Georgia, whoever it may be are breaking the rules too. Can’t reasonably expect a coach to be able to control 100 college kids with regard to every single NCAA rule.
