let’s see if I understand that concept. The state is trying me for murder. I wanna be free, so I admit everything tricking them into releasing me?
Hmmm. Novel approach, I think I need to mull that over a bit more to appreciate all the subtleties .
Wow. Way to oversimplify so that the point gets lost. Did I say admit everything?
December 26th, 201010:37 pm
you have a point. what should I admit?
December 26th, 201010:38 pm
You’re a piece of work
December 26th, 201010:41 pm
I already admitted that long ago.
December 26th, 201010:46 pm
Ain’t that sumthang like double jeopardy?
Once I admit something once, I don’t hafta admit it again??
December 26th, 201010:47 pm
I thought you said you were a work of art
December 26th, 201010:54 pm
well that too Jd
December 26th, 201011:00 pm
Nats looking at Pavano??
December 26th, 201011:01 pm
jeffrey d – you need a geography lesson, maybe two or three. 100 miles SW of Key Largo and you think you’re on the Yucatan Peninsula? Or maybe Cuba? Dude – you don’t even need a Passport!
December 26th, 201011:06 pm
My New Year’s wish for 2011
That the Phillies, Giants, Yankees, and Red Sox all hire Bobby Cox to manage their teams
December 26th, 201011:08 pm
Keylargo – I know the Yucatan is more than 100 miles off of the Keys, but you said you were 100 miles southwest of Keylargo. The closest land south or west of the Keys is Mexico and Cuba.
I didn’t figure you were actually blogging to us from Cuba
December 26th, 201011:11 pm
December 26th, 201011:12 pm
he’s floating around in a dingy with dozens of cartons of freeze dried apricots, a laptop and a really big battery
December 26th, 201011:13 pm
TnBrian gave my last comment an A. Thanks TnBrian
my finners missed that “h” again. dinghy.
December 26th, 201011:15 pm
That’s a B- for spelling
December 26th, 201011:16 pm
This blog doesn’t like me anymore. I can comment half the time and the other I’m blocked. WTF up wit dat!
nolie is here, nothing new. Picky nolie …..
December 26th, 201011:17 pm
December 26th, 2010
Like them teams need to win 10 extra games a year…..
December 26th, 201011:20 pm
I’m kidding nolie, by the way.
Everybody have a good Christmas? This was actually one of the better ones I’ve had since I was a kid. Had a good time.
I just watched DOB’s video on us and the Phillies for next year. He talks southern, mid-western with a touch of Yankee talk. Maybe that’s just me and my imagination, who knows.
December 26th, 201011:22 pm
not for spelling, for typing.
December 26th, 201011:23 pm
Any other “Star Wars” geeks on the blog?
C- …arguing with the teacher
December 26th, 201011:26 pm
I admit nothing!!
December 26th, 201011:28 pm
must be the day after Christmas, everywhere I turn here there’s a buncha dried up turkeys
December 26th, 201011:29 pm
……………………..a laptop and a really big battery
Nah, I have a trained dolphin that pulls my dingy and turns an old waterwheel like device that produces electricity. Cuba has a giant WiFi network I get free.
December 26th, 201011:32 pm
that’s much nicer than what I was imagining KL. Enjoy.
December 26th, 201011:33 pm
Best gifts I got:
– winshield wipers …..the good kinds
– money ….not much,but better than nothing
– body wash
– armour all kit
– shirt from girlfriend that is too tight, makes me look gay
All in all though I was appreciative of everything I got.
December 26th, 201011:34 pm
I think I’d believe the trained dolphin constantly working your custom-made waterwheel before I’d believe there’s WiFi in Cuba
December 26th, 201011:35 pm
December 26th, 2010
must be the day after Christmas, everywhere I turn here there’s a buncha dried up turkeys.”
Probably dried up hams for this holiday, but that works, too.
Nice gifts TnBrian…I’ll give them a B
December 26th, 201011:36 pm
I misspelled “dinghy” too. I guess I get a C for spelling but an A for lying.
December 26th, 201011:37 pm
I got an iPhone, so now I can blog from bars like Tomahawkin
December 26th, 201011:38 pm
or WITH Tomahawkin
December 26th, 201011:39 pm
How could I leave off the worst gift of all! My girlfriends parents took us all to the movies as their Christmas gifts to us. What we saw? That new Narnia movie. Big time bore. I’m so sick of these digital movies anyways. They aren’t going anywhere though as long as they keep rollin in the money.
December 26th, 201011:42 pm
jeffrey d, or bloggin from Lake Lenier, or whatever Tomahawkin is always talking about.
“Move out tha way, pretty boy comin through…. me and my crew!!!!!”
I like ‘ol T’Hawk though.
yup, nobody goes to them movies anymore anyway Brian , they’re too crowded.
December 26th, 201011:43 pm
Good Lord, did they shop anywhere but the convenience store at the gas station when they went Christmas shopping for TnBrian?
yeah MIBF that would work too but we have always been a turkey @ both holidays kinda family. Ham is soooo mundane…
haha, that reminds me….I went ice skating last week and “Pretty Boy Swag” came on. I immediately thought of Tomahawkin. Oh, how this blog creeps into other aspects of our lives
December 26th, 201011:44 pm
Good one BravefaninOK. Let him have it!
I will say the little rat in that Narnia movie was kinda funny and the brat kid had some okay funny lines, but it was more of the same from these fantasy, digital movies I’ve seen a hundred times.
oh man that was cold Bravey
December 26th, 201011:45 pm
I’m going to see “The King’s Speech” before the end of this year. Colin Firth may or may not win the Oscar for it, but I want to see this movie.
December 26th, 201011:47 pm
are you sadmittingthat you are old enough to remember the guy?
There’s AL picking on TN again.
December 26th, 201011:50 pm
Braveheart, you’re wrong, or mislead by my post. Wipers came from Wal-Mart, shirt too, and the wallet to go with that car kit cleaner and body wash. Body wash is the smell of a greasy redneck with bad breath. Makes you fit right in.
Wipers came from Wal-Mart (they did, I admit), wallet from Belk, cleaner kit from Wally World too, body wash from Bed,Bath,Beyond, shirt from TJ Maxx.
December 26th, 201011:52 pm
Wal-Mart, your redneck resort and entertainment center.
and I ain’t admitting that I shop there either
December 26th, 201011:53 pm
I’m just messing with ya. Cash, gift cards, and sh!t from Walmart you can actually use is better than most of the fancy crap you get that you either don’t like or don’t have any use for.
December 26th, 201011:55 pm
I heard that TnB’s girlfriend actually kissed him too. Every Christmas she gives a little tongue….
December 26th, 201011:56 pm
Were you asking me, nolie? If so, no. I’m just one of those people who has read a lot of history and has read some things about that part of history. And I’m a fan of Colin Firth anyway.
December 26th, 201011:57 pm
Braveheart, I swear I shopped at the fancy stores in town and luckily I waited a little longer to see I can get the same exact thing at WalMart for half the price. Now clothes and stuff like that I wouldn’t get there, but plenty of other stuff there is definitely worth getting to save you money.
December 26th, 201011:58 pm
Now quiet in the theater or it’s gonna get tragic.
We’re bout to get taken to a dream world of magic with…
the Chronic (what?)
Cles of Narnia
Yes, the Chronic (what?)
Cles of Narnia
We love that Chronic (what?)
Cles of Narnia
Pass that Chronic (what?)
Cles of Narnia
December 26th, 201011:59 pm
And nolie is in his 60’s ladies and gentlemen ….
December 27th, 201012:03 am
no I was just teasing you MIBF. I didn’t really think you were around back them
He was the last Emperor of India , the last King of Ireland , and the first Head of the Commonwealth.
December 27th, 201012:04 am
Braveheart, funny you say everybody quiet in the theatre because somebody behind us far*ed during a real quiet scene of the movie last night. That was the most entertaining part of the 2 hours for me, honestly.
TnBrian, oh I have known some old timers that are much worse than Nolie.
so what? it ain’t true? she didn’t kiss you? hmmm.
December 27th, 201012:06 am
prolly shoulda got some mouthwash along with that body wash maybe
Oh, how this blog creeps into other aspects of our lives
What do you mean by “other aspects of our lives”? I’m perplexed.
TnBrian, I tried to watch the first one when it first came out a few years ago, but didn’t make it a third of the way through the movie before turning it off
December 27th, 201012:10 am
Does the tongue even exist after 7 years together, nolie? I mean, a peck here, a peck there and I’m tired.
TnBrian, next time your loved ones are going Christmas shopping for ya at the gas station, could you at least get them to pick me up a Nick Saban photo in the condom aisle. They’re right above the Magnums:
December 27th, 201012:12 am
now that was funny Brian
December 27th, 201012:19 am
Must’ve been a Vols fan that set that photo there, Braveheart. Had to of been intentional.
December 27th, 201012:21 am
wouldn’t ever find John Wayne’s photo in a place like dat
December 27th, 201012:25 am
I must be married to youse guys. Like TnB said, a peck here and a peck there and I’m tired.
So it’s of to my vibrating bed for a little R&R.
December 27th, 201012:29 am
We couldn’t have had Uggla this year? I say that because having him in the middle of our lineup probably means we beat SF and maybe even Philly to head to the World Series. We were desperately missing Chipper and Prado’s production in that playoff series. Uggla could’ve made up for a lot of missed production.
Oh well, maybe we can string together 12,874 miracle comebacks again next season to punch in a playoff spot.
Kidding, I think we’ll be just fine.
December 27th, 201012:30 am
Night nolie. Don’t dream of my tongue, please.
December 27th, 201012:39 am
nah I’ll be remembering your girlfriend’s…
December 27th, 201012:56 am
Steve from OH

December 27th, 20101:30 am
I’m more focused on nolie’s burn
….I hope people don’t read that as “bum”
December 27th, 20101:43 am
Damn Nolie, didn’t know you had it in ya!
December 27th, 20102:07 am
That damn nolie is a piece of work

I hope the braves can get uggla extended and at the right price.
December 27th, 20103:12 am
Hope everyone’s had a good weekend/holiday.
We’re out in Portland for a few days, then taking the train to Seattle on Tuesday. Portland’s a really cool, laid-back town, and someone forgot to tell them that record stores were dead — we went to three within a 10-block radius today, including two in The Pearl, cool neighborhood with terrific restaurants, bars and nightclubs — and did we mention record stories? Oh, a and a Doc Martens store.
Spent nearly two hours in Everyday Music, which is probably the only record store I’ve been in that has as selection of LPs and CDs as extensively as Amoeba in L.A. It’s a couple of blocks from Powell’s books — a bookstore literally the size of an entire city block.
Got a still-sealed copy of The Fabulous Johnny Cash LP and a Hank Williams as Luke The Drifter LP, Movin’ On. It was a good day.
December 27th, 20103:16 am
MIBravesFan: Just saw you mentioned wanting to see The King’s Speech. We saw it tonight, just walked back to our hotel 15 minutes ago after seeing it here in downtown Portland. Great movie, and Colin Firth is every bit as good as you’ve heard. Oscar-worthy performance.
December 27th, 20109:42 am
Everyone snowed in this morning or just too late a night?
McFann O O
December 27th, 20109:48 am
Lew Everyone snowed in this morning or just too late a night?
Yeah, what gives?
Maybe they all went out to return gifts/spend the gift cards they got…
December 27th, 20109:55 am
Good Morning Everyone, Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas. I know I sure did, although I’ve noticed the older I get the fewer the gifts under the tree. Oh well, it’s been great spending time with family and playing a few card games.
December 27th, 20109:58 am
I am snowed in here in the mountains of NC, 10.5inch of the stuff, thata a lot for here.
December 27th, 20109:59 am
No snow in our parts over the weekend. Rather cold this morning however.
December 27th, 201010:00 am
Transplant – Nah, the older you get, the more you realize that someone else needs those gifts much more than you do – and you act accordingly.
LTBF – You got more than we did in central Vermont – so far. Might keep going on here until four this afternoon. We have about six inches so far and some pretty stiff winds.
December 27th, 201010:02 am
McFann- Check your email later. I’m sending a Christmas card an artist friend did. Show you what happens when a Fantasy artist gets a hold of Santa.
Glad you had a blessed Christmas! We did, too.
although I’ve noticed the older I get the fewer the gifts under the tree.
Haha, same here. Dad was saying on Christmas Morning how funny it is that our (the kids’) piles get smaller and smaller each year—and it’s not that we don’t get much, it’s just that what we want is smaller and there aren’t any toys. Kinda sad in a way, but we gotta grow up I guess.
December 27th, 201010:04 am
Snow done here I hope, but cold 22* going down to 8* tonight, even the dog wants to come right back in. lol
December 27th, 201010:06 am
OK, thanks! Will do!
Nah, the older you get, the more you realize that someone else needs those gifts much more than you do – and you act accordingly.
December 27th, 201010:11 am
Lew – Nah, the older you get, the more you realize that someone else needs those gifts much more than you do – and you act accordingly.
Yeah, I think that’s why the past month in a half really moved by so quickly. Seemed we were constantly on the go, so many opportunities.
December 27th, 201010:30 am
LTBF – Y’all are having a heat wave. It’s seven here now.
December 27th, 201010:38 am
Hope everybody had a great Christmas. Don’t know what to think of this quick story, but it was funny: My 2-year-old didn’t want to share his cookies or his gallon of milk (he’s the only one in the house who drinks it regularly so he thinks it belongs to him.) So he informed me we were going to leave Santa Claus some bacon and a Coke…And we did. Only in Arkansas, right?
December 27th, 201010:40 am
And Santa was pi$$ed, when he came through at midnight, and found that the dog had already taken care of that bacon for him.
December 27th, 201010:45 am
Hillbilly – What? NO BBQ?
December 27th, 201010:47 am
Ol’ St Nick probably appreciated the caffein boost.
Nice story, Hillbilly.
December 27th, 201010:52 am
WOW. Sounds like a lot of you folks had a white Christmas. All our snow was melted down near the flat lands by Christmas eve, but we got a fresh 3″ here at home about mid day on Sunday.
Rare for us to not have a foot of snow where I live at this point.
Tough going down south with a bit of snow, considering there is minimal snow removal equipment.
I trust everybody had a wonderful Christmas!
December 27th, 201010:53 am
McFann, I bet most of them did go back to return gifts.
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
