McFann, or maybe just have Heyward hit behind Mac. Maybe Chipper, but I have a feeling CJ will be in his 3 spot again. I mean, until he gets hurt and then Heyward should claim that spot.
Lord have mercy that Adrian Gonzalez stuff will dominate the rest of the offseason. Hated more, Sox or Yanks? Man, I don’t know.
I think we may be suprised by the shape that Moylan shows up in this spring. Looks like hes already got on a workout program trying to cut down on size.
jeffrey, I admit it made me smile. I’ll refrain from saying something mean in response since you’re blah today.
McFann’s been getting you good though. Oh, and thanks for all that spider talk yesterday to everyone else. I’m cleaning and ran into a few spiders and now I keep thinking they’re all poisonous and going to eat me alive.
The whole “getting pitched around” thing is kinda a non-argument, at least in regards to batting order. (not who is in the lineup).
Assume the Braves have 5 “feared” hitters. Chipper, Heyward, Uggla, Mac, and Prado.
And 3 “other” who are not as good/feared for whatever reason A-Gon (look for K, low avg, etc), Freeman (rookie), McClouth (slump/K etc)
The order will likely have the top 5 hitters in the first 5 spots or in the first 6 if McClouth earns a spot in the top of the order.
So whoever it is who bats either 5 or 6, that is after the other 4 of the Braves’ better hitters will get “pitched around.”
I just have my doubts about Nate. It’s like I want him to od well, but i just don’t see it. Why waste a couple of months to find out? Once again i’m being honest on how I feel. I’m having trouble with this one…..

Maybe it would be smarter for the Braves to bat Nate 1st, cause if he bats 8th, he will not see a strike all season and he might break the single season record for K´s.

Mitchie-san, yeah that is true. Right now, I am stuck at around 155 lbs and can’t gain much more. However, even if you are younger and have a good, high metabolism, you still shouldn’t eat like that because skinny folks can still get heart disease and other heart problems.
I checked the free agent market, and there is not that many ss out there for the infield. We are in trouble for a back up ss. Might have to trade for one or call one up from the minors.
Why are people so convinced that Schafer is going to end up being a star? Because he had a good spring training? Heck, even Melky Cabrera looked like a decent ballplayer in ST.
I just don’t see it with Schafer and I honestly never did. If he doesn’t do something this year, that should be the end of him with the Braves.
Mitchie-san, yeah I know I definitely eat a lot, as well. One thing I need to cut back on is my soda intake. All the acid that is in there can’t be good for the throat muscles or the esophagus.
Wow, honestly I have not seen the hype into Schafer, but I may be wrong and I hope I am, but when I think of him I just think of someone who got hurt and will never completely come back. I have seen it in players before, and I just can’t help feeling that way about Schafer.
