ward, the Webster’s Spellcheck and Thesaurus app has slang as well as a hookup to Google… a normal spellchecker won’t know if you’re spelling Saltalamacchia right, but this will since it’s updated daily.

Another way to automatically spellcheck words is to capitalize every word in your sentence. It’s one of those Windows/OSX tricks. If you capitalize every word it automatically checks and substitutes the correct word if it finds a mistake. Takes a little longer, but it works just as well.

Hey, we’ve got a good amount of deer living in the woods behind our house (they were in a our front yard one night last week, but somehow we missed that.

A year ago a deer ran into my truck as I was driving up a mountain in central Utah. I didn’t hit him he ran INTO the rear of my truck.
You’d think he would have seen that large white F150 heading up the highway! Did a grand worth of damage to sheet metal and rear lights!

Yeah, I once had a deer run into my old Cavy I had at the time while I was stopped at a stop sign on a country road…
She then proceeded to pole vault over the vehicle…didn’t clear the landing though, leaving a nice giant hoof dent on my drivers side door.

Snotboogie, I can definitely explain things… but I don’t know that you guys want to hear what I’m going to tell you.
The deer didn’t innocently run into the back of your truck, DS1. Same thing with PTown’s incident. You guys left the scene thinking “Stupid deer” while the deer left thinking “Lucky human”. You’re both lucky to be alive.

I tried to avoid the bugger, but he was on an intercept course with the right rear of my truck. I looked back and he flipped over in the road, jumped back on his four feet, and was on his merry way afterward. Put a sizeable dent in the truck and busted out the taillight.
Maybe deer prefer Chevys?

The Braves have signed four players, according to Eddy (all links go to Twitter). Outfielder Jose Constanza, 27, batted .319/.373/.394 at Triple-A for the Indians; 28-year-old infielder Ed Lucas hit .307/.398/.480 at Triple-A for the Royals; utilityman Wilkin Castillo can catch and play in the infield and outfield, but hasn’t hit Triple-A pitching and Shawn Bowman, 25, hit 22 homers at Double-A.

I’m listening to the Rome Show from yesterday and Jay Mohr is sitting in…and ppl are calling, texting, and emailing in “bum smack”…
Basically the premise is to find some sort of food item that a bum would use as something else instead of just eating it…

he wouldn’t have as many chances in pressure situations…and yeah, I do recall even then he did fairly well P-Town
yes that is true, but his percentages were pretty good no matter the number of chances, especially using Leverage which breaks an entire career into high,medium and low. It gives up some preciseness but presentss a decent all around view of how he tended to hit in more or less important at bats. Murph was very consistent across the board actually, with a slight upgrade in high.
