it’s too early to say it’s not a dynasty. As long as they are winning divisions and/or appearing in the post season every year it’s as good as anybody else’s dynasty. Aren’t many multiple winners even for just 4 years anymore and they could win it again next year.

Snotboogie, I don’t know what they do with recruiting or other things, but I know for academics, they hire a note-taker in the classroom; they have tutors, mandatory study halls; they know about all of the assignments. The only time a player can miss class is for an NCAA mandatory drug testing. For that I receive an official note. I get emails and/or phone calls from the athletics departments to check up on things. The first time I had a phone message, I was worried that it was going to be some type of pressure. My sister teaches in the SEC and had received pressure from a coach before. But I have never felt pressure.

My two very least liked teams are eliminated, I am so happy
I’m rooting for Rangers for a few reasons and one being this is their 1st World Series and another being I’m rooting for Andrus/Feliz. Also Cliff Lee as well. He deserves it. I am a Cliff Lee fan to be quite honest, so I can root for him without feeling dirty (when he was with Philthies).

Yeah it irritates me too…but…unless Frenchy knocks in the clinching run for the Rangers, nobody but his family and friends will remember he played in the 2010 WS….lol.
I’m sure the 2010 Rangers will be remembered by others like: Lee, Hamilton, Cruz, Feliz, Andrus etc. not Frenchy.

I love Ron Washington, Cliff Lee and the entire Rangers team. But, I am a National League fan and will follow the Giants to the end. It is a shame that Francoeur is in the World Series but in his heart of heart he knows that he just got lucky and fell into the right team. We all know he did not earn his trip to the Big Game.

We on this blog need to be concerned with what the Braves are doing – and NOT taking consolation in or pleasure from any other particular team winning or losing
In other words, if the Braves arent winning, I dont give a rats patoot who wins or loses amongst the others
Let’s worry about our side of the street. If someone else does something dumb, lets not let that be an excuse for tolerating it when the Braves do sometrhing dumb. And so on
That said, the outcome of the the Phillies-Giants series proves once and for all that the Braves roster was good enough to win the NL

This is what we’re left with when our team lost in the first round. It’s not about who you like at that point – it becomes about who you “hate” in a sports sense. Whichever team wins this WS will have done it in spite of being outspent. To me, that’s a victory for the game of baseball.
