Baseball’s definition of insanity is doing something different and expecting the same result.
Charlie Manuel allowed Ryan Madson to go two innings for the first time this season.
The results were predictable. 3-2 Giants.

Yeah, the Brady Bunch was funny—we do like The Partridge Family better, though.
Dang, that show is FUNNY! It was Mom’s favorite as a little girl (she likes Shirley Jones a lot), and we just started watching the DVDs this past January…very funny show.
But yeah, the Brady Bunch could be pretty funny, too. Alice was always my favorite from that one.

Should have typed this earlier…but, I didn’t and don’t like Lincecum here at all. Go with your normal pitchers. Bringing in the ace starter to pitch in relief hardly ever works. See Oswalt. See the Braves back in the day. Except the 2001 D-Backs, I don’t remember it working that well. I am too lazy to look it up…at least I think it went well in 2001.

hasn’t got a thing to do with baseball. the same action often brings different results and different actions often bring the same results. that definition applies to a physical universe with set patterns and laws, not baseball at all. I get tired of seeing it posted here when it is totally meaningless in a baseball context. just so somebody can try to make others think they are familiar with Einstein.

RG–Yes, but the Berry campus is beautiful. Besides, I have been at schools where more exciting things happen; sometimes exciting is not necessarily good. A student where I taught last year was gunned down by some gangmembers who wanted to crash a party and the student asked them to leave.

Einstein postulated it in regards to such things as physics where there are immutable laws and the same action will in fact always produce the same result. In baseball the same action does not always produce the same result or once one series of games were played we would know the outcome of every future action and playing would be a futile.waste of time.
