Soph, oh really. That is actually interesting. I have no real problem with Posey, that was said in the heat of the moment when he left runners in scoring position.
No…it’s not past my bedtime…past my bedtime would be like, 2 hours and 15 minutes from now…
Treyit’s very edutaining!
Hey, I mean, it could be pretty funny, actually…especially the older ones. I remember the newer ones (which now would be older…haven’t watched that show in like…maybe just under 7 years or so…) being kinda odd though…or they were TOO mean to each other…
Maybe you folks have heard this one, but it was something that Brian wrote after Carl died. Not the greatest Beach Boy song, but considering the meaning, very touching…
Bravefaninok, actually there are no good or bad names. Names are what people make of them. I know I like the name Yanni, it is just the Greek version of Jonny or Johnny.
Haha! That’s funny…heck, better than what they put out now. I could watch Clifford and Curious George all day long over the garbage they try to pass as TV shows these days…
VMcFann – I was thinking about you the other day when I saw Bonanza was on TV. Did you ever watch that show? I bet you’d have liked Little Joe if he were about 50 years younger.
Soph, I used to read Curious George and our school teacher always read Amelia Bedelia to us in first. We also had French class and watched French Muzzy videos.
Yeah…Course, I don’t watch anything they make now except Extreme Makeover: The Home Edition. The most recently made show I watch with the family on a not-regular-enough-to-be-considered-a-”regular bases” is Everybody Loves Raymond, although it’s not always watchable. Some of those are hilarious, though.
keylargo—
Hahahaha! My Sister actually watches Bonanza on YouTude…I’m not completely sure about how she feels about this “Little Joe” character, but he does get brought up…
SophI used to love the Curious George books. First thing I grabbed whenever I went to the library as a kid.
One of them scared me when I was really little, but for the life of me, I can’t remember/figger out why.
“I used to love the Curious George books. First thing I grabbed whenever I went to the library as a kid.”
I did, too. I had a Curious George stuffed animal. When I had to have surgery as a three-year-old, he went with me. I remember telling the nurses that I was getting my tonsils and adenoids taken out, but George was only getting his tonsils out. While i was under, one of the nurses put some ’stitches’ in George, so I would know that he had also had his surgery.
McFann – Michael Landon played Little Joe and he was a teenage heartthrob back in the day. He played in other series after Bonanza where he was an Angel or something plus Little House on the Praire, but he was always very popular. He got cancer and died rather suddenly though.
Maybe you folks have heard this one, but it was something that Brian wrote after Carl died. Not the greatest Beach Boy song, but considering the meaning, very touching…

I do remember Richard Scarry though! Busy World of Richard Scarry, no? I remember Huckle the cat, and there was a talking worm, a hippo, etc.
Moe – It was a very good rendition of God Bless America done by a professional singer. You have said on a couple of occasions you liked Opera and i would bet this guy made his living singing.

Don’t tell him I said anything, but my 18 year old still sleeps with his “Little Bear”. He received it as a gift when he was born. It has been left in hotels and McDonald’s across the country back in the mid 90’s. Our dog Dodger bit his nose off about 12 years ago. Grandman sewed on another one.
When ran away from home about 2 years ago, and rolled his car when he fell asleep, it made this old hard guy cry to see his brother retrieve “Little Bear” from the beat up Chevy.
I Love Lucy is classic…love it. Fred and Ethel rule!
