Philly Phool’s only been here 3 weeks, he said. When he saw the Braves injuries mounting up and the Phools start winning a few, he came out of hiding. He didn’t have the balls to come here for the 3+ months the Phools were looking up the Braves rear. By the way, Phool, Phools ain’t won it all yet.

Your statement is bogus. Go look at the Padres record over the last 30 games. That is what I would call folding. The Braves cooled off and got passed by a very hot Phillie team. As hot as the Phillies have been however, that means nothing in the playoffs.

Interesting Stat of the Day: Braves could clinch the wildcard tomorrow without even playing. If Giants & Padres lose tonight & tommorrow, Braves clinch wildcard. Braves would have 90 wins, Giants 89 wins, and Padres 87 wins. Padres would have to sweep to get to 90 wins, but Giants would only have 89 wins thus giving Braves wildcard even even Braves lose last 3.

The Braves HAVE to win on Friday to have any chance of rest this weekend (the phils know this; I thinks they’ll send their A-Team on Friday).
I think one win this weekend clinches it for the Bravos; two wins would be a lovely lead-pipe clinch.

Folks talk about rollercoaster seasons. This one has had some of the lowest lows and highest highs I’ve seen in a season.
It’s been fun, horrific, terrific, horrific, and now back to fun.
We just gotta get in. Maybe the Phils lose in the Divisional Series. Then it’s really up for grabs..
