an out, but not a lot accomplished.
Brave4life-1995 all over again??
got 1 at least
Well, that awful run-down just got two runners into scoring position. So, really. The exact same scenario it would have been if he hadn’t gone to home. JJ … run him to third.
wow, big baserunning mistake.

Facts Is Facts

If Frenchy played 162 games against the Braves, he would almost look like a real big league ballplayer..
For all the hype associated with him, Heyward really IS NOT a great defensive player. Just a fact.
JJ and Hanson really are closer to the ability of D.Lowe than they are Tim Hudson
Are you Serious? Really?
Braves All the Way
I feel if the braves get out of this inning with the lead, they will win the game
Still a big out.
oh my gosh… the radar on ESPN just showed 103??? that can’t be right
JJ with a quality start. Bum!
Go sit down!
McFann :Ô: :Ô:
August 30th, 20109:08 pm
Even better second out!
JoeBrave … all three of those looked like opinions.
cheshire – 91 on PTV radar.
This is the AB of the game right here.
lol, sorry, it was the 103rd pitch
August 30th, 20109:09 pm
pitch around castillo to get to wright (sarcasm)
Great play, BMac!
Dont walk castillo, please
gonna load em up
chili, he said facts, but damn WOW!
Damn you Jurrjens. Driving me INSANE… why do you make things so f**king hard on yourself??
Sam … not that I’m not rooting for it … trust me, I am …. but this ain’t a quality start yet. One more VERY BIG out to get.
Mr. Turnip-Green Jeans
Ain’t somebody here from Chatt’noogy, the origin of all things Moon Pie?
Castillo is tough to walk.
August 30th, 20109:10 pm
JJ come on
I Miss Ted Turner (formerly I Love Derrek Lee)
Throw the ball over the damn plate!
He’ll get himself out.
Six walks. Nothing quality about this. At all.
But, not this time.
good god. Make him put the F**king ball in play!!!!!
uh oh. googly eyed retard time?
you’ve got to be kidding me. these last 2 hitters just show how confusing JJ has been tonight… strikes a guy out on 3, then can’t throw a strike to the next guy. this is one of the stranger outings i’ve seen from him.
almost had it JJ
August 30th, 20109:11 pm
strikes one out on 3 but walks the very next on 4 …. yeah, that makes sense JJ
Easy -E …………
Ok, I was being optimistic. But then again I would have never let him pitch to Beltran who he blew away.
Oh snap…taking JJ out??
bullpen taking a beating the last few days
big spot here for EOF
We can’t have a last at-bat win unless we’re behind.
You read my mind, Mixxo.
August 30th, 20109:12 pm
i dont care but jurjjens hello ur pitching against a triple A team and we walk 6 . u have 2 outs and we cant even throw a strike. he deserves for the mets to tie this game. just awful.
Ok. So now THIS is the at-bat of the game. I dont think Carter has faced a lot of lefties this year. So hopefully EOF can overpower him.
Still 5-3 Braves not that some really care about that.
August 30th, 20109:13 pm
Ankles was awfully happy when he entered the game.
jj struggling again…hasn’t been the same this year…darn imjuries
Come on Eric
Sophee – We’re on the same page. ♥
something about this team just makes it impossible for them to make it easy on themselves. it’s like they have to play at risk the entire game.
you guys need to see this high school football play. I laughed pretty hard at this.
Oh Ricky in CF… Nice defense, piss poor stroke!
Joe, ain’t Chattnoogy the center of the Moon Pie Universe?
August 30th, 20109:14 pm
Come on O!
Need ya here.
EOF, get the damn ball over!
Eek, kinda high but we’ll take it.
Jesus Jair. This was not a good start. 8 strikeouts don’t matter when you walk 6 guys. Can you hold ANY lead??? Get it together man…
August 30th, 20109:15 pm
this is tense

August 30th, 2010
That and Little Debbie cakes!
He’s found his release point.
I need a drink.
Thank you EOF!!!
Nice job EOF. Thank heavens.
Good play there by Gonzo too.
August 30th, 20109:16 pm
any ball hit to AGon is a tight game situation always makes me nervous
Thank you, O’Flaherty!!
JJ clapping in the dugout…love it…
Hell ya! EOF! deserves a Heineken after that one.
6 walks..8 strikeouts…2-run lead. Mets are playing .500 ball, hardly a AAA team. Is it the pressure that turns some fans into such tools?
Bailed your ass out JJ…. pull it together
great job Eric .. now get those runs back that jurjjens and heyward gave them
critical situation, runners in scoring position, ball hit to Gonzo. Thank goodness we are not in Houston. Hopefully Alex has gotten rid of the demons that plagued us with critical errors
August 30th, 20109:17 pm
Jurrjens, i think you owe Mr O’Flaherty a steak dinner
Facts Is Facts
“Are you Serious? Really?”
JJ blew the Rock game and he left this mess for Eric O to clean up. Hanson is on a “geez how do I pitch again?” binge. Frenchy hits the Braves when he hits no one else and Heyward is not a great outfielder.
Yeah. I’m comfortable with my statement.
Now no more Melky in CF tonight, McCann better have stashed them Moon pie’s!
August 30th, 20109:18 pm
and Heyward is not a great outfielder
now pitching for the mets, former Braves great Manny Acosta
August 30th, 20109:19 pm
Sam Fossela, we blew a 9 run lead to a .500 team last week. I don’t think people are being irrational by getting nervous here.
Little Debbie cakes!
Blueberry Muffins are the best thing Little Debbie ever whipped up.
Jurrjens’ line: 5-2/3 innings, 3 runs, 6 hits, 6 walks, 8 strikeouts. Threw 62 strikes in 108 pitches
hey its Manny A-cost-us-the-game
JJ can be accused of not dominating, team still in position to win. Of course if you like to complain the whole winning thing is beside the point I guess.
How many “great” right fielders are there anyway?
The great outfielders, typically, play in the middle of the outfield.
August 30th, 20109:20 pm
Oh! muh guudness Matt out of the game
August 30th, 20109:21 pm
He rips balls!
How about that? Ankiel turning on a 94 mph fastball? Who knew?
