The pitch to Francoeur was a bad one. But hey. Mistakes happen. JJ keeps walking these light-weight hitters because he cant locate his f’n fastball at all. And it bites him with a bad hop .. and now its a tied game. Just like that.
So we had the lead for all of four batters.

this is very disappointing. we need JJ’s start in Colorado to be a fluke, and this isn’t exactly calming my concerns. if he starts to go the way of Derek Lowe, that pretty much gives us 1 consistently reliable starter. we need JJ to pull it together fast and stop wasting leads.

you know, the funny thing is, as much as we all get frustrated with our offense, even when we do score runs, our pitchers not named Hudson give them right back, so i’m not sure it would matter how many more runs we’d have scored this season

What kind of “fan” expects starters to never give up any runs? JJ is pitching just fine. Francouer is a Braves killer just like Gant was after he was shown the door. JJ is getting ground balls like he should.
