So, the Cardinals went into Cincy and punked the Reds, only to leave town, and go into a slump, while the Reds go on a 7-game tear.
Hopefully, the Cardinals that come to Atlanta in 3 weeks will be the team that has bee losing since it left Cincy.

I don’t disagree that Ankiel mostly has no chance against lefties (except Santana, interestingly, for whatever reason) and they probably are better off with Melky there hitting RH, but saying a guy isn’t any good against lefties and saying he isn’t any good at all, is two very different things.

You have to play Ankiel because he is the only legit CF on the roster. No way Melky out-hits him enough to cover for the godawful defense. Haven’t seen Heyward in CF, so he may be an option with Melky in RF. Still think Rick’s OK in the 8 hole though.
