This is why it is important to have an offense that doesn’t sit back and wait to win at the end of the game. Hanson is no Smoltz, he is no Avery. He had a good streak going but he wasn’t ready to pitch today.

This is getting old…. Braves score no runs in early innings, pitchers much feel like they have no room for error. Except for innings 7-9, this is the April Braves these days. Down 5 runs now… not looking good.

The Braves management does need to start going for hitters, as well. We struggle to win when our hitters can’t score two or three runs, even if our pitchers hold them to two or three.

For the life of me, im still trying to see how in the world this team is in first after all this time. Gotta be the pitching staff!
Hanson is really NOT that good this year. Granted the past few games he got no run support, but he is clearly looking bad.
Lee is just awful looking right now, what a way to make a debut. 0-5 and all strikeouts!!! And every ball they hit is right at someone.
