There goes the lead.
Bobby was just asking what day it is.
Call up Freddie Freeman (Rob from SC)
cheap ass run
are you fricking kidding me??
You’ve gotta be Fuggin’ kidding me!!! Unreal.
I Hate Liberty Media
That Melky runs like a deer.
Ballgame. Medlen sucks! Trade his midget @ss.
July 30th, 20108:05 pm
Balk a day Bob strikes again
BamaDude @ CowCollege AL
cheap @ss balk call …damn
Minor rolling thru 4
We need to call him up
B A L L G A M E !!!
Hey don’t worry about it guys. We’ve got THUNDA!! in the middle of our order.
If there weren’t two out, there’s no way he scores on that ball.
Medlen looks horrible. Take him out.
Brave4life-1995 all over again??
This season going down the drain fast
July 30th, 20108:06 pm
I hate that piece of sh*t Medlen. This game is over.
Boy when it rains it pours
Well there. It doesn’t matter. They both would have scored on that double.
Balk did not matter. Still would be 2-1 now without it.
thE Sky iS fAlLing!
Wow. This is typical luck for us right now. One legit hit and we’re down 2-1!

Why on earth does Melky EVER pick up the ball to through it when Heyward is right there?
Nick. Phuck you.
Well, Kris is rattled and there goes the lead and possibly the game

Nah. Berkman looks like Elvis about three months before he died.
Good call. In other words he’s the least athletic looking individual on the planet next to Corky Miller.
The A Bomb
Another case of a young pitcher becoming unraveled by the moment.
Happens to Jurrjens.
Happens to Hanson.
Happens to Medlen.
That’s why we’re in trouble.
Hey, Nick. Lighten up.
He is rattled
Not being negative, but I think this is closer to the actual Braves than the May Braves.
Nick- FLOCK YOU. Braves have better winning pct when he pitches than any other pitcher on team
Medlen is acting like a headcase…Chill out…
I hate it when young pitchers lose their focus when things happen like that. 0-2 with 2 out. Balk or no balk, just go get the hitter. He needs to take a play out of Maddux’s book. Runner on, I don’t care, I’m going to get the hitter.
Chop It Up All-Star
Come on Meds, hold them right here and get the hitters back up there.
I hate the fact that being down one feels like being down 5
when erik hinske is your main offensive threat you have problems my friend

I am so tempted to turn down our dinner invitation tonight so I will not miss the continued wisdom of Nick…
Nick, do you have some sort of mental handicap or are you trying to be sarcastic? Hard to tell on the internet, as you may or may not know.
Nick wants to blame Medlen. Yet our cleanup & #5 hitter have K’d twice and grounded out twice with runners on.
Man, the Reds look good.
The guy blooped that hit and the pitch was a foot off the plate. How is that Medlen’s fault? If you had Ellsbury in CF, he is quick enough to get to that ball
HE NEEDS A THIRD PITCH
Must be nice to have legit RBI guys in the middle of your lineup.
cue the crazies. no more bloggin for me. later people
Garbage hits are killing him…
And people say medlen is our 2nd best pitcher ?
July 30th, 20108:09 pm
The balk threw him off his game, he’s cooked
Roger should have gone out their and kicked him in the can.
I said it yesterday and I’ll say it again. The Braves will get swept in this series. They have been making dumb mistakes and have not been capitalizing on most of their chances. Outside of Hudson, not one starting pitcher has been great lately. Yeah, you can say they have been having quality starts, but you need great pitching to get past the mistakes these guys are making. And as I’m writing this, the Braves and Medlen are making sure they begin on a losing note.
JC from DR!
Haha, laughable team this last couple of weeks.
No need to worry. This high powered offense will have us out in front again in no time.
We are playing sooo bad
Maybe a loss will force Wren to do something, as he should (whether it’s trade or internal).
well that was an UGLY inning, eh ?
Brave One In AZ

Really…. do we have to watch Melky’s fat ass in CF for the rest of the year?
God forbid the flippin catcher, manager or pitching coach go out and talk to him. Just let him stew in it for a while?
Had nothing to do with the balk getting in his head. He’s been missing spots tonight, and those show up big second time through the lineup. Hopefully he settles down, two runs ain’t nothin’ here.
Offense STRUGGLING and down 2 to Cueto. Good combination?
haven’t seen those people 2010.
Does anyone else get as tired as I do watching Cabrera try to play center field. He just ain’t made for it.
July 30th, 2010
Can we trade a blogger for a bag of balls?
Thats tough luck for Meds…Get him some runs and pick him up…
He has done nothing wrong. These guys have had good swings. Only Votto’s hit was legit and he is a freakin all star, not a bum. What the hell do you want when the idiots on offense DO NOTHINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
Welp, here we go again. Another short outing from one of our starters. The offense has already proven what they’re up to tonight, which is to leave small army’s all over the place.
Brave One In AZ, nah, Gregor is coming!
I hope you folks didn’t think 1 would get it done. This offense in that ballpark. Braves offense has to go to work. Besides I don’t think Kris has thrown a scoreless outing anyway so they know they needed to score him some runs.
July 30th, 20108:11 pm
It’s really depressing when a 2 run defiecit seems insurmountable…but it does
Well, at least the Phillies are getting beat.
sooo i guess we will be lucky to take one game
we wont get swept… not with J.J. going tomorrow, he has been dialed in
Difference so far: Reds have gotten every big hit, Braves got one weak one and eaked out a run. Both teams have four hits and two doubles, but it’s 3-1. Bottom line, inability to get the big hit for about two weeks.
Update Phils see scoreboard, taste blood in water, score five to take lead from Nats
WelL tHar gOes thE wHole yeAr
Dang, we need a guy like Votto.
“Maybe a loss will force Wren to do something, as he should (whether it’s trade or internal).”
Unless that “something” is telling #6 to go home, why bother.
July 30th, 20108:12 pm
I’d say they’re playing as well as they can considering they’re playing without a first baseman, third baseman, shortstop, left fielder, and center fielder.
The speedster bunting his way on…
They traded Mitch to stockpile some cash…..must be something bigger coming.
Loved watching Ruiz throw the ball to an invisible third baseman for the Phills….made me chuckle.
Was JJ dialed in during his last start?
Thanks for screwing up the page DA.
Jake, he threw a 1 hitter against Minnesota
Braves need a legit CF…He could have been out of the inning on that bloop…
Wren’s handcuffed by sh-1-tty ownership.
Why didn’t someone, ANYONE, go out and settle Meds down? I blame mgmt. and Meds fellow players for half those runs!
July 30th, 20108:13 pm
Thanks for F’in up the blog tristan.
Pretty sad when your only hope of remaining in first is to hope the other teams lose.
David Ross has how many HRs in this park in 300+ ABs, but we have McKKKKKKKKKann in the lineup.
tristan, don’t do that, please.
Nice hit Omar…could have used that when Hinske was on 2nd base
Cueto is tough…not liking being down 2 to him with the way our slugging O has perfromed lately.
Is it a good thing or bad thing that Infante is the best player on the Braves?
Wren’s handcuffed by sh!!ty contracts.
July 30th, 20108:14 pm
Who was the last REGULAR position player to hit a HR???
F.Y. Nate the hate!!!
Yes, like a delicate fawn.
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
