Big inning here for JJ. Last time he’ll face the heart of the order, more than likely.

Thinking of other NL all-star hopefuls at the catcher position.

Saito and Moylan are both good. Very few relievers are solid all season, start to finish. Virtually all of them have rough stretches. I know it’s challenging to have your two best RH relievers struggle at the same time, but its the sort of things that all MLB teams deal with throughout the course of a season.

I consider myself the biggest Braves fan I know, but how can anyone seriously vote for McCann over Molina? I love him to death. I even wear his number on my softball team, but if World Series home field advantage is going to be determined by the outcome of the AS game, I can’t, haven;t and won’t vote for McCann over Molina. I cannot justify it. Molina’s defensive abilities cover up the short comings he may have on offense against McCann. I guess you could say I am not voting for McCann because I am a Braves fan and want the NL to win the AS game. I think Molina gives the NL a better chance to win.

Funny you should say that… I actually know his parents (went to church with them for a while, and my brother & his family are still pretty good friends with them), and have met him briefly. They’re outstanding people… I’ve always wished the Braves would pull the trigger on getting him, for that reason in addition to his bat.
