I love how the announcers continue to make excuses for Jason Heyward looking like dog sheot at the plate. He should be sat down, especially against lefties, or at least dropped down in the order to 7th until such time as he gets a clue. I would much rather have Hinske bat against lefties than Heyward.

Probably the most recognizable song in the Majors, Chipper has come out to “Crazy Train” for several years now. However, that almost all came to an end. At the start of the 2002 season, Chipper decided he’d had enough of “Crazy Train.” So, he told the music guys that he wanted to come out to Kid Rock’s “Cowboy.” The Braves fans were destroyed. They hated “Cowboy” and demanded the return of “Crazy Train.” After months of fan mail over the change, he felt obligated to go back to the Ozzy hit. “Crazy Train” is still his song today. Every now and then he mixes in a Kid Rock song, but at least twice a game you’ll hear “du-du. du-du. du-du. Eye, Eye, Eye …,” and you know that Chipper is coming up to bat ESPN

Jeffreeeey d – I remember every time I have been to a game, even as a child, it was Crazy Train. I don’t remember an AC/DC song for him, either. It may have been another player.

Jerry, i couldn’t agree more – i feel like too many people are turning a blind eye to what seems to be an growing problem with Heyward. I’m not saying send him to AAA or anything, but if you keep a guy hitting as badly as he is in the #2 spot, it’s gonna start costing you games. If this thumb thing is really an issue, give him some rest until it heals. At the very least, move him down to the 6 or 7 hole where he’s not quite as much a liability.

I don’t know how you send Medlen back to the pen after his gutsy performances. KK must get sent to the BP. I totally agree with DOB’s tweet from yesterday about Saito…”gotta question that call of putting Saito in back to back games after coming off DL.” That cost us the game. I’m not as big of a Bobby hater as most on here, but I think an excellent example if one wanted to pile on…
