Glaus is hot by anybody’s standards right now, but you know what? His .858 OPS (after the HR) is right in line with his career .855. He’s a very good hitter, who missed a year due to injury. I’m not saying I expected him to be this good, but we really shouldn’t be so surprised.

yeah I know McFann its been quite a while but he is a proven hitter so I may get down when he misses a RBI chance but the 2nd half is really when he needs to kick it in, were doing just fine right now

You know, Dave O’ Brien, I’m kind of glad that Glaus had that home run taken away, because if he had five in five days, then it would REALLY, REALLY tick me off that the Braves still weren’t getting any national love. I know I shouldn’t care. But it’s just my insecure side showing.

I’d hate to see Medlen go back to reliever roll, brian. I think when JJ gets back, KK should go to the reliever roll. Granted KK has improved, but I honestly think Medlen is better.

Meds is a starter. Just probably not for this team as it is currently constructed (plus JJ), for a variety of reasons (several of which might not be fair to Kris). Long-term he’s not much more than a 4 though, I think.
