At least Glaus will have another chance top of 6th!
1-2-3 Kris. Let’s go.
June 3rd, 201011:27 pm
“why do you build me up buttercup baby just to let me down, and mess me around”..McFann should sing it for McCann..and NEVER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! run with Glaus up.
TnBrian, I suck. I apologize. I totally misinterpreted your post.
Let’s make it 9 in a row!
Okay three times is not a lot.
Maybe it’s time for Glaus to hit in the cleanup spot.
Its been so for a while now. Bobby might change it up sometime this roadtrip if Mac cant get a few key hits. One can hope.

If McCann insists on swinging at shoulder high pitches, I’m sure every pitcher in the league will accommodate him.
hit and run scores him……not bad to be aggressive espcially when you up by three
Why are we running there? Stupid
JC from DR!
Mitchell – So, you are seriously trying to jinx us…?
They made up for 8 of the games during the 9 game losing streak, let’s see if they can make up all 9 tonight.
June 3rd, 201011:29 pm
uno-dos-tres por favor.
But that’s assuming the Braves’ pitchers can hold them down.
…Wait, Lowe’s not pitching? OK, then they can.
McFann :Ô: :Ô:
Braves4life wuts the diagnosis??
I have NO idea…wish I did, though.
Yeah, you totally are…
Bobbeeeeee’s Maybe it’s time for Glaus to hit in the cleanup spot.
There’s a novel idea! Seriously…twice as many homers, nearly three times as many RBI as BMac…come on, Bobby!!
Colin “why do you build me up buttercup baby just to let me down, and mess me around”..McFann should sing it for McCann
Oh I do, I do…
Trey, they did the right thing in deleting it.
June 3rd, 201011:30 pm
Medlen’s got that change working tonight. Impressive.
McFann, actually I just wanted you to copy and paste “Ho sit down”.
speed is lacking on this team…I dont mind trying to add another element that heyward can bring…..just did not work out this time
Brave4life- 1995 all over again
gat the man at 2nd good job
haha nice McFann ..he will get it rolling no worries!
Yeah it is his blog and if he doesn’t want it then he does have the right to delete it. Racism shouldn’t be brought into baseball.
You know Lowe gave up one run in eight innings his last time out right?
Snotboggieeeee Bobby might change it up sometime this roadtrip if Mac cant get a few key hits.
In our dreams…
June 3rd, 201011:31 pm
Only 55 pitches for Medlen through 4 innings. Could be in for the 1st shutout by a Braves starter in over a full season…
Racist comments shouldn’t be deleted. They should be ignored. By everyone.
Yeah, I know, but for the joke I had to pick on *someone* other than KK.
Oops, that was supposed to be strikeout text on the “other than KK” part
June 3rd, 201011:32 pm
I like how he is pitching, very good!
Hmm. Ok, I guess.
To think, if Raul Ibanez hadn’t reached up and brought back a Glaus would-be homer Wednesday, he’d have homers in five consecutive games.
Kurdt that is true, as well. I guess if he wants to delete them he can, but people should say what they feel, but everyone else should just ignore the racism.
I did that once and caught some heck…had no idea it was naughty.
Colin he will get it rolling no worries!
Yeah…how many weeks have we been saying that now? But it will happen…he’ll wake up all the way…
June 3rd, 201011:33 pm
This dude is about to get an out.
Esco’s turning those DP’s tonight.
Excellent job Meds!
I knew Krissy would put on a show for the home crowd.
I <3 double plays.
June 3rd, 201011:34 pm
iwas begging meds to throw his curve for three str8 pitches
I honestly should have said DP, I knew it but nope, did not say DP.
Know your brave “Troy Glaus” ???
Medlen ain’t no good …
this is a baseball forum, no need for racism.
Racism shouldn’t be brought into baseball.
That’s twice. So are there places where its allowed?Just curious.
June 3rd, 201011:35 pm
Glaus is hot by anybody’s standards right now, but you know what? His .858 OPS (after the HR) is right in line with his career .855. He’s a very good hitter, who missed a year due to injury. I’m not saying I expected him to be this good, but we really shouldn’t be so surprised.
It looks like Medlen’s pitching against the Braves offense in April.
… that was my impression of a Phillies fan … pretty good, huh?
yeah I know McFann its been quite a while but he is a proven hitter so I may get down when he misses a RBI chance but the 2nd half is really when he needs to kick it in, were doing just fine right now
I’ll bet when Medlen reaches puberty he’ll be some kinda good pitcher.
Way to throw, Meds.
Snotboogieee, it was said a couple of posts before I commented mine that you just said. However, it was deleted, I believe.

Vin Scully on Medlen’s high first pitch strike percentage:
“It’s as if 0 and 1 is painted on the scoreboard…”
Also his recounting and summation of the Jim Joyce call in Detroit made you want to run out and hug an umpire. Vin Scully is awesome-plus.
its weird seeing Nate McLouth: 1-2.
June 3rd, 201011:36 pm
Medlen looks great tonight. This team is fun to watch right now.
if Glaus maintains this pace, he’ll finish with 126 RBIs
He’s going to get a hit.
June 3rd, 201011:37 pm
Vin just pointed out that the Dodgers now have scored 2 runs in the past 28 innings…
Who wins a race between Loaf and woManny?
“So are there places where its allowed?Just curious.”
even his outs are pretty deep.
Do you think that Kris is bearing down a little harder for his hometown peeps?
June 3rd, 201011:38 pm
No one said TROY GLAUS FOR ALL STAR GAME
I think Meds is trying to show people that he is a starter.
June 3rd, 201011:39 pm
good job EH.
90 pitches for the pitcher of LA…last inning I bet.
Shawn “PED” Green… haven’t heard about him in awhile.
June 3rd, 201011:40 pm
You know, Dave O’ Brien, I’m kind of glad that Glaus had that home run taken away, because if he had five in five days, then it would REALLY, REALLY tick me off that the Braves still weren’t getting any national love. I know I shouldn’t care. But it’s just my insecure side showing.
I’d hate to see Medlen go back to reliever roll, brian. I think when JJ gets back, KK should go to the reliever roll. Granted KK has improved, but I honestly think Medlen is better.
atta boy Esco
Runners on the corners! Way to go, Esco!!
id be happy if mcann esco and heyward get hot when glaus cools…..or just be happy glaus keeps hitting like Arod
No trey I’m asking you – you keep saying it like racism should be allowed but not in baseball or on a baseball blog. Just where is it allowed?
There’s that magical 4th run standing on 3rd base with < 2 out….
Steve from OH
Meds is a starter. Just probably not for this team as it is currently constructed (plus JJ), for a variety of reasons (several of which might not be fair to Kris). Long-term he’s not much more than a 4 though, I think.
June 3rd, 201011:41 pm
good job YE!
Way to go Escyyyyy!
Come’on Nate, another good chance for you!!
big chance for Nate!
June 3rd, 201011:42 pm
Damn it, McLouth.
nate back to form
McLouth, what a jagoff you are.
McLouth tries to bunt and foul-pops out. Couldn’t have done much worse there.
Bad bunt attempt.
That was just plain dumb.
June 3rd, 201011:43 pm
Vinny is stats galore tonight. Just spewing the things left & right.
For example, if we hold on to win tonight, the Dodgers would lose their 8th game in 10 against NL East clubs.
Manny being Manny.
Hahaha Manny. I love it.
