One stretch earlier in the season Moylan let 3 of 5 inherited runners score. He just seems to pitch better either starting an inning or coming in bases empty

If he leaves Hanson in and he gives up a couple, you guys blame Cox.
When he takes out Hanson and brings in Moylan – who is usually VERY good – you blame Cox.

Yeah, that happens every year with every negative blogger. And then as soon as one little thing goes wrong everyone starts pissing and moaning like entitled rich chicks.
So what you’re saying is that somebody who’s optimistic about the up-coming season is already a “negative blogger”?
I guess some of us never even had a chance.
But how about that 9 game losing streak when I said they’ll be a better team for it in the long run when they break out of it?

To bad for Peter, I was just saying yesterday you don’t want to overuse your bullpen early because that is exactly what happens. Bobby jumped the gun on this one I believe. I know Tommy’s pitch count was a little high but it was 2 outs and a 6 run lead with your bullpen having worked a lot with all those rain delays. I was kind of hoping he would leave him in to face one more batter and leave only the last two innings to the pen. Up well, still a 3 run lead with 2 innings to go. Hopefully we get some more runs.

Bobby deserves the bashing – he should have left Hanson in to finish what he started. Instead, he single-handedly changes the momentum of the game by over managing. He is way too concerned with making sure he overworks his precious bullpen at any chance he gets. Although I guess we should be thankful that it didn’t take him a month to decide to pull Moylan like it did with him starting Hinske and changing the batting order.

I hate to bring it up, but Escobar dogging it out of the box on that would be double (when he got thrown out at 2B), may come back to roost. Not sure we get more runs that inning with McLouth and Hanson coming up (though Hanson did get a hit that AB).
But against a team as good as the Phils, regardless of how they’ve been struggling, you need to pound out every run you can get and play like you want it.
Hope that moment doesn’t come back to haunt.
Need to come right back in the bottom of the 7th and add an insurance rune (or 5).

I seriously doubt Saito is called on to pitch the 8th. He’s pitched 3.2 innings in the past fours days. He’s pitched in 3 of the 4 games & in two straight.
