KK’s run support season: 2, 0, 2, 0, 2, 3, 0, 4, and 2.

He gave up 5 runs once, and besides that it has been 2,4,3,4,3,3,0,

ERA is high because he can’t go six innings. . .Apparently he needs to start jacking homeruns so he can start winning games.

I’m so tired of people like Jeff Schultz saying KK is the worse pitcher we’ve EVER had . . . I guess he wasn’t here for Albie Lopez and Chis Reitsma era (from six years ago) “Tired of excuses and go win games” . . . ok go win games with zero run support.

Kenshin is fine. Especially as a fifth starter.

Resign or Re-sign?

If the Braves would give KK some support, he would be in the game longer; Cox has to pinch-hit for him sooner because they are always losing in the middle innings whenever he pitches. Then they score 4 in the first for Lowe!

I have no regrets of Kenshin’s signing to the team. His cumulative ERA has been better than Derek Lowe’s for the past two years. If there is anyone to blame for KK’s W-L record, is the Braves offense. Keep your head up KK. You are one of a kind and have done an admirable job as a 5th starter.

If he were playing for the Yankees, he could easily fill the 3rd/4th starter position.

maybe, but it definetly means the braves who’ve been scoring about 6 runs per game are gonna score at most 2 and commit at least 1 error. hopefully kk will pitch well

Keep wondering the same thing and my guess is that as long as the team is winning he will be in there no matter how bad it gets. That just seems to be the way bobby works. It was the same with the kelly and prado situation and we were just barely hanging around 500 and it took till June for Bobby to wake up then. Right now were doing much better than that, but my guess is that sooner or later if he keeps hitting like he has been, eventually it will cost us some games, especially if he keeps putting him in the six hole so maybe then we will see a change, but I wouldnt count on it anytime soon.

Thanks Chief. But like others who have posted this, we’re facing the Phillies next and we must have better situational hitting.
