Attaboy Nate-Dawg! Andruwesque there!
May 14th, 20108:04 pm
Oh snap we got a Web Gem battle
Due to that great catch I will call him Nate instead of McOut for at least the next 2 innings.
May 14th, 20108:05 pm
McLouth has been getting it in center all year. Now he’s just got to get it at the plate. Great catch.
A play like that might Turn Nate Dawg around at the Plate or is that wishful thinking?
May 14th, 20108:06 pm
I have a feeling the guy making the racist comments when KK pitches is the same guy, just changing names and emails so that he cant get booted. Just try and ignore it. Im sure he is just trying to get a rise out of us…
Rob (from SC)
Everytime Joe talks about a Kawakami start, he says it wasn’t as bad as it looked.
It seems like KK has 1 inning in every start where he doesn’t have it together and then settles down. Hopefully the 1st was KK’s Slop inning?
McFann :Ô: :Ô:
This is the one-month anniversary of McCann’s last homer.
Chuck James was Solid until the 6th!!!
May 14th, 20108:07 pm
I think Sutton does a solid job. He sure as hell is eons better than Chip Carey!
smitty, I think you should take controls of the gamer tonight. i like it….oh snap
Sorry, but I can’t resist.
“I’m sure he is just trying to get a rise out of us…” – Tommy
That’s what she said.
Joe is right! U don’t agree?
BamaDude @ CowCollege AL
nice come-back inning for KK …let’s get that run back Troy & EH …maybe BMac too !
May 14th, 20108:08 pm
I made a mistake. It’s http://www.broadcastradiostream.com/wfis.asx
Haha yea good one Hedley. I guess I walked right into that one
was that Paris Hilton
Most 5th starters do. Hence the assignment of 5th starter. However, he IS better than the results have shown. Good point though, hopefully that was his inning of struggles…
May 14th, 20108:09 pm
You set ‘em up, Tommy, I knock ‘em down.
Results aside, Mac was ALL OVER that!!! He is back just like that! I havn’t seen him sit back comfortable and rock one like that at night in awhile! Yeshhhh!!!!!!
I usually ignore the racist Troll
Knowing that he will get Bozo’d by the end of the night…
I’d sure like to see him saying that racist garbage while at Asian Resturant
That’s right, he knows better and uses uses the web for his drivel
Can’t say I’ve ever seen someone wearing a bumpit in thefront of their hair. Thanks for the crowd shot, PTV.
May 14th, 20108:10 pm
Smoltz and his “people don’t understand” lines. Unreal.
Bottom line I want to get at here is instead of arguing with nobody or that one idiot who said “vacation”, why don’t you let us know what happened with Jurrjens MRI? — Chuck James was Solid Until the 6th
That’s the bottom line? For you, maybe. For me, the bottom line is, I’m not covering the team today, and was at the eye doctor getting fitted for new glasses and getting drops put in my eyes so my pupils would dilate for the vision test at about the time the clubhouse opened. So why would I have the info on J.J.? We’ve got two people covering the team today, Carroll and Chris Vivlamore, both at the ballpark and reporting any news about J.J. or anything else. As I said earlier, I wrote a Sunday story and had a half-day off today. Sorry that doesn’t sit well with you, Chuck.
I’m telling you…he’s just still upset that Japan won the World Series Classic….poor lil fella cant get over it
May 14th, 20108:11 pm
CJWSUT6th I havn’t seen him sit back comfortable and rock one like that at night in awhile!
That’s why I’m so mad at that jerk for catching the ball…
KK’s Stats are deceptive…To the casual fan his stats are garbage but he gets no run support just like Jurrigens and Vazquez last year
Nice catch by Kelly!!! Pretty ironic that he ran over and called LaRoche off! Maybe he was trying to prove something to us Braves fans that he CAN catch that ball
May 14th, 2010
Joe is right! U don’t agree?
I do, the question is what is a bad start to Joe?
May 14th, 20108:12 pm
ok, first time through the order, the Braves have returned to form. But the 2nd & 3rd times through, the D-Backs will pay dearly!!!!!
May 14th, 20108:13 pm
Can your Crew at the Ajc do the Know Your Braves thing again? instead of 4 blogs in 1 day…
3/4 blogs in one day is too much work for you and D.O.B.
May 14th, 20108:14 pm
It’s all good with me over here. I just wasn’t cool with you wasting your time off explaining yourself to the person saying you were on vacation. Kind of like now, you don’t need to explain yourself to us. Enjoy your time off. The only point I was making was if your going to write 3 paragraphs mine as well be about baseball instead of explaining to some fool that you’re not on vacation. Sorry if you took my tone wrong. That’s why I hate trying to convey my point over the computer.
Hope everything went well with your Eye Doctor and everything is cool. Enjoy your night off dude.
KK’s stats this year SO FAR have been garbage. He doesnt give up that many runs a game but he is not pitching enough innings.
One cannot assume that he would not be giving up more runs if he was staying in longer, hence the high ERA
May 14th, 20108:15 pm
Did Glaus not have any entrance music in that AB?
Chuck James was Solid until the 6th!!! — Yeah, but remember Chip Caray is responsible for play-by-play stories. Sutton comments on plays. That’s 2 different jobs and, also, I don’t think you can compare TV with Radio. (I’m yet to listen to Chip on radio; don’t want to do it.)
Any Braves Fans Live in Gwinnett County…?
If so where are the best Clubs up here…I don’t feel like going Downtown tonight…
Maybe it was a moment of silence for the pitcher
May 14th, 20108:17 pm
Catch the ball gimpy
And KJ takes ball 3 right down the f’ing middle…grrr.
Why do the announcers keep making excuses for Chipper? His defense is lacking.
That was a tough play for Roger Dorn to make so I give him a pass on that one
May 14th, 20108:18 pm
thanks Rob for letting me know that I am not crazy…I though the ball was catchable but the announcers were acting like it was not
You can’t help where it lands, ask Glaus… I’m just glad he sat back and rocket it. It’s very encouraging that’s for sure! Especially if Bobby will keep him in the 4-Hole.
Like we always say, it must be tough for the guy to be pitching down in the game every inning of his life. I would love to see his repetoire and game strategy on the road if they went up 5-0 or something in the top of the 1rst. But that wouldn’t be right, would it?
This Is why I liked KJ at leadoff too bad I was in the minority
May 14th, 20108:19 pm
I blame that on CHipper
C’mon guys n’ gals, lets just put this one behind us and strap ‘em on tomorrow. We still have a chance to win this series.
So we lose this one….Big Deal.
I though the ball was catchable but the announcers were acting like it was not
Middle ground….it wasn’t impossible and it wasn’t routine
May 14th, 20108:20 pm
KJ is awesome!
Like we always say, it must be tough for the guy to be pitching down in the game every inning of his life. I would love to see his repetoire and game strategy on the road if they went up 5-0 or something in the top of the 1rst. But that wouldn’t be right, would it?”
Yes Sir…! I miss the days where the braves would spot a 3 spot in the first and Maddux Glavine and Smoltz would put it in criuse control 4 seven strong
May 14th, 20108:21 pm
Why haven’t they sent KK to the internment camp yet?
’bout 70 years too late for that. But you’re close, bud.
@DOB – man, don’t try to make sense with those without it (Chuck). Is it any truth to the rumor that the Braves early season start caused you to have to see the eye doctor? LOL
Do the Bruins want to win this Series
May 14th, 20108:22 pm
Ho sit down!
Nice D Bravos !
Nice, well take that!
Nice play OMAH & CHIPPA!
Don’t do that Soph! LOL
Thank you Kelly
May 14th, 20108:23 pm
That was not fundamentally sound baserunning right there.
I’d assume you’ve listened to that song…
The lyrics are Garbage but that song is Crunk!
Somehow I just can’t bring myself to shoot Lincoln.
Sutton did TV on TBS for a looong time. He was solid. Carey just tries too hard and gets very annoying. I guess we were spoiled with Boog last year because listening to Chip becomes a chore tolerating him. This duo with Smoltz and Simpson is perfect for my liking. No painfully pathetic nicknames that only stick for 20 minutes and nobody laughs to begin with. Like ‘Sparky’ for Prado the other night when he hit in 5. That’s like what an 11 year old would come up with. He’s not the slightest bit funny. His Dad knew how to get laughs with the unintenional humor, the clever humor. Chip just lets it all out there and the results are always bad for him.
Are you kidding, T’Hawkin? That’s my favorite phrase that we stole from you.
May 14th, 20108:24 pm
What do you think of the Hawks firing their coach
C’mon y’all, it’s not the end of the world!
Good throw Mac
May 14th, 20108:25 pm
Gawd our pitchers suck at holding runners on and it makes B-Macc look bad when you look at his pctage at throwing out runners
But nice throw this time B-Macc
That last comment of yours cracked me up
May 14th, 20108:26 pm
Because if KK had held that runner on 1st better, Brian’s throw – which went about 3 feet over Prado’s head – would have nailed that guy
I try to save the ho Sit down Phrase for only players I hate…Jeter, Big Sloppy, A-Fraud, and that Sellout TEX…
Rob – knew it was coming and I think it was the right decision. He did a good job in turning the team around the last few years but he couldn’t get past that 2nd round hump in the playoffs. This year was really bad – it’s like they gave up before the series even started.
May 14th, 20108:27 pm
Through 34 games, I feel like there has been MAYBE 3 easy games all year thus far. I yearn for those days man!!
Carroll: I can do just that haha
May 14th, 20108:28 pm
nice start Omar
use two hands to swing
Lets go Nate!
May 14th, 20108:29 pm
KK bunts, Prado gets on, and Heyward hit a 3 run bomb!
Anyone noticed that since Ian kennedy left the Yanks you never hear anything about him? Now Hughes is the media darling. I hate the Yankees and the media who constantly harp on them.
Looks like the braves are gonna try their hardest to make this Slop D-Backs rotation look like the 1996 Braves rotation
C’mon, so we get shut out 1 zip….whoop-dee-doo.
We’re not the first team to ever get shut out.
May 14th, 20108:30 pm
Why is Mclouse on our roster?
awe shucks, forgot about Nate.
Thats all BSPN Hype thats why I don’t watch that network
Cheers for bringing back “crunk”! If for only one night…
Marlins are having batting practice against the Mets! Love it!
He did a good job in turning the team around the last few years
I really don’t think he was too instrumental in that increasing win total. I think Josh Smith in 2004, Joe Johnson in 2005, and Al Horford in 2007 had more to do with it.
KK …good one !
May 14th, 20108:31 pm
Does anyone else think McClouth should see B-Mcs or DOB’s eye doctor?
Come On MP…!
Worst hitter I have ever seen.
the jumbo board just found three guys dressed up as Geisha’s, KK’s Geishas…..Complete with makeup and all. Too funny.
May 14th, 20108:33 pm
get it to the beast
I caught a glimpse of them on the Peachtree pregame show it was quite funny
Heyward with two ducks on the pond… Let’s go Big Boi!!
Come on Hey-Beast
Good Eye Baby!
Come On J-Hey!
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
