@Mitchell – I am wondering what all these people that consider themselves “true fans” do to get that designation? Have part ownership in the team? Wayne in UTAH has spent lots of $$ in Turner field I guess. Just because you are ALWAYS positive and settle for the mediocrity of the past 4 seasons doesn’t make you a “true fan.”
Thank god you weren’t alive in 1776 or we would still be ruled by the British! LOL!

i’m all for bringing in your best relief pitcher in a tie game in the 9th at home. give yourself a better chance to win in the bottom of the inning. i think it’s one of the rare cases where i agree with bobby’s strategy

His pitch selection is very predictable. Upton knew he was going to try another slider and he smoked it up the middle. He gave up the double on a fastball when he had just thrown several fastballs in a row to KJ. Poor pitch selection.

Let’s see. BRETT DeVALL starts, goes 5.0 IP, surrenders seven hits, and five earned, one BB and four SO. A duo of middle reliefers continue the carnage, giving up three earned in 2.2 innings and ANDY WILSON closes with a 0.1 IP of one hit scoreless work. Whew, what a night.!

That’s right Wayne, I fall into the category of someone who does not drink the koolaid that so many of you do, so rather than allow me my opinion, you and others think it necessary to label me an idiot. But that is okay because I’m a realist. When this season ends, this team will be languishing in 4th or 5th place. Play some more make believe Wayne an see if that helps you sleep better.
