Alright Mr. Jones, tie the game!
It is really funny how some make those snide remarks to DOB then when he responds in his way of responding they just shrink up and start smooching up on him.
you help the team more when you’re not in the game chipper …
Rob (from SC)

“Need to make Kennedy work, their bullpen sucks”
Yeah and our offense will make them all look like Mariano Rivera
Chuck James was Solid until the 6th!!!
Get a heavier bat Chipper….

Just in case this wasn’t mentioned last inning…INFANTE’S A FREAKIN’ RETARD!
Yet another Braves baserunning blunder. Blame the coaches. Somebody should have told Infante to plant his ass on second base with Heyward batting.
Roger Dorn is killing us in the 3 hole
I’m glad we have Chipper hitting 3rd. Sure is a heck of a 3 hitter. Average down to .233…nice.
NO MORE BOBBY
We are watching the real Braves tonight.
We’ve given away at least three outs in this game already.
You would like to think that Heyward would have had simalar results in the last inning.
May 14th, 20109:01 pm
Yer out son.
Not a good jump
he didn’t have that big of a lead
Cue excuse from Rob…
I Hate Liberty Media
Chipper’s done. Everybody knows it but him.
damn roger dorn
What was that all about?
See B-Mac, that’s how you throw out a runner.
May 14th, 20109:02 pm
Line on Jo-Jo Reyes for his rehab outing tonight in Gwinnett….2 IP, one hit, no runs, no walks, two strikeouts. 23 pitches (7, 16)
Thanks Carroll. Jo Jo is one fine AAA pitcher, no doubt. Let him put up some good numbers down there and then trade him for whatever…
At least J-Hey Tried, knowing that the other 7 guys in the lineup is taking the night off and ready to hit up Buckhead
If your wrong about CHipper, will you ever give me props
Thats a heck of a throw by the catcher there. Nice play. Right on the money. I wonder what its like to have a catcher who can throw.
I wasn’t kissing up on him. I didn’t say shite to begin with except wondering why he took all that time to respond to somebody explaining he was not on vacation when there was actual baseball to be talked of. That’s all. I didn’t know there were two people covering today, you would have figured they’d of had the update on Jurrjens. Now go shiver into a ball lady.
Hard to tell on the angles they just showed on that replay at third. I could tell Heyward didn’t like the call – hence the dirt he threw. Maybe he got in on the back side of the base.
McCann is a liability this season…no bat, no throw.
He was out!!!
May 14th, 20109:03 pm
so much for Jason 2nd and Chipper third
Jason knew it would take a SB to score
He looks angry
Braves just need to get to the Arizona bullpen
Tall can o’ corn.
it’s the diamondbacks braves, stop playing down to them!
He we clearly out. Just a great throw. But with Chipper and McCann behind him, he felt like he had to get to third. They weren’t going to get a hit to drive him in.
May 14th, 20109:04 pm
Last 80 games, 7 Homeruns. This is not a fluke. He is old and it is showing
I have no idea what Heyward was thinking trying toi steal third when you’re down more than one run. Didn’t we just go through this with Jody Gerut and the Brewers on Thursday?
Can’t really fault him for trying, after Grandpa Jones couln’t get him over
Mr. Turnip-Green Jeans
I’m not an Adonis myself, but does anybody think it might benefit Brian to shed a smidgen of lard?
chipper and mccann hitting in the .230’s in the middle of may….. nice
Mr. Jones wiffed with a man in scoring position, after calling him brethern out?
Heyward was out but only because of an absolutely perfect throw. I mean it was as perfect as a throw can be.
Chipper and Mac need to wake the eff up.
KK has actually pitched well tonight with 1 earnd run and 7 K’s thru 4. We need to hit!
Right before I jump off the ledge, Rob.
Chipper’s 0.233 average is a quiet 0.233. Anybody remember the last time he had a hit that mattered?
May 14th, 20109:05 pm
At some point Braves management needs to stop pretending that Chipper and McCann aren’t hitting .233 and .237.
Delta Delta Delta!
Rob begging for props on ripping Chipper daily? Stick to your guns RHR, even if Chipper is through he does not deserve the constant disrespect that Rob and a few others are always slinging around.
Chipper used the no one in front of him getting on excuse a few weeks ago for his slumps. What will he come up with tonight?
BamaDude @ CowCollege AL
Jason was out, but it took a perfect throw …
May 14th, 20109:06 pm
THat’s a shame. You know you are wrong.
KK’s put up an admiral battle tonight, but the best he can wish for is a no decision.
Lil’ Barry Bailout
Wednesday. A pinch-hit double that drove in a run.
Dumb move by Heyward, stop making excuses for him.
May 14th, 20109:07 pm
Sure could use KJ in left, huh.
I thank Chipper for everything he has done. The problem I have is people like RHR still think he is a superstar and deserves no blame.
Based on their thinking, we should have Glavine and SMoltz in our rotation
“Wednesday. A pinch-hit double that drove in a run.”
–wasn’t that like the 9th run in a blowout win?
I believe the young Jonny Venters is up warming in the bullpen
May 14th, 20109:08 pm
Wednesday. A pinch-hit double that drove in a run.- That hit didn’t matter. It was 7-2, or 8-2 at that point when he got the hit.
I can actually feel my brain melting
I got your back
must be nice that kelly is all of a sudden hitting isnt it?
unproductive out by Chipper then bad decision by J-Hey. The rest of the players owe KK big time tonight.
Arizona is was 0-6 at home and swept by Milwaukee. Their only wins this month against Houston. Come on lets get back to fundamentals and get into their bullpen!
May 14th, 20109:09 pm
It’s a shame that KK kept them in the game and he gets nothing.
MFin04 – I hear you but after Bobby waited on Glaub and he turned it around, I think one of these guys will get going. I predict Brian over Chipper.
Chipper is at that Kirk Gibson point in his career where he wobbles up to the plate with his sore groin and hits the game winning pinch hit homer.
Rob…. We get it, you think Chipper is done. No need to post it a million times. You’d think he was the first guy to ever strike out with a guy on second.
Good catch Mr. E, but the Braves were up, what, six runs at the time?
Not such a big deal.
May 14th, 20109:10 pm
Maybe Mac needs a weight clause like Horner’s. Horner evidently bought Big (Mac)s with his lard-bonus money. Kinda ironic when ya think about it.
May 14th, 20109:11 pm
Medlen is up too. He could get some work before his Tuesday start
good lord, KK just sucks…
Texas and Toronto hitting from the tee tonight. 14 -10 in the 4th.
May 14th, 20109:12 pm
Glaus has hit the ball hard all year long. McCann and Chipper have looked bad at the plate. There is a different. They have to come around for this team to win, but the management needs to put them in places in the order to succeed.
Is it me or has this game been really boring…?
Rob (from SC) A crime shame.
We give up so many cheap hits
I’d like to see where the Braves rank in cashing in leadoff doubles. Alas, I am but a simple caveman without access to the statistical services available to Braves beat reporters.

Rob (from SC) A crime shame.
I can’t wait until a few more years and ol RobfromSC starts to get old and, well, you know, he won’t be able to perform and his wife will……………… Right Rob? That’s what you preach daily, no make that every DAMN FIVE MINUTES!
Is MEDS coming in or Venters?
we might need acquire another starting pitcher folks….
KK has not done too bad tonight. His offense and defense has sucked.
Why on earth is Brian McCann hitting clean-up…it’s really a joke.
The Braves in this game look eerily like the team when we aren’t playing the Astros and Brewers.
I feel so bad from Kawakami. The guy battles every time and every times the Braves give him NOTHING in return.
He deserves a lot of credit for staying classy about it and not throwing his pathetic offense under the bus.
May 14th, 20109:14 pm
Great start by KK. In all respects should have been 5 innings with no runs given up. What can you do.
i wish toronto or texas would let the braves borrow their tee tonight, my goodness
Maybe Mac needs a weight clause like Horner’s. Horner evidently bought Big (Mac)s with his lard-bonus money. Kinda ironic when ya think about it
How is that ironic, in what way, cause I gotta tell you I can’t get a whiff of it.
May 14th, 20109:15 pm
JJ is kinda redneck. Ha!
Rob (from SC) -
Never mind….you don’t get it.
come on JV!
blame for what, being old in a non PEDs era? Whatever Rob.
eric c. i dont understand it either. mccann might not have the greatest eyes, but he sure is not in the best playing shape this year either. last year, he was great physically. this year….another story.
too many pitches once again for KK
May 14th, 20109:16 pm
come on venters! this guy might be our 7th inning guy next year
Gosh, why would you want to overwork your starting pitcher who gets five days rest when you can overwork your bullpen.
