Braves with the lead with out ace looking sharp [...]
I’m not watching the game, just following it on Gameday. Isn’t Hanson looking sharp? I mean, 6 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 0 BB, 6 K and 57 strikes out of 83 pitches.
Soph, I can’t even come up with a good reason…
(I mean other then the fact that I am sure it is the “national” game because we all know that everyone wants to see the mets & the phillies…I mean, I know I don’t get to see them enough!)
Lawton-
It makes more sense for you to get it in Richmond then for me to get it here
I’d like to “see” him pitch 9 tonight, but I know Bobby would like to give Wagner a chance to get a save. It the Braves score a couple of runs Wagner won’t have to pitch though.
Right on cue, a mETs fan enters the blog annoying as hell. METS MADNESS act like you guys have been there before dude. What exactly have you guys won? Last time I checked they don’t hand out awards for winning the division in April. Its bold, I’ll give you that. Your a fan of a team that normally chokes braging about your teams early good play. Meanwhile we all feel kinda sorry for you because we’ve all seen this movie before: Mets, high payroll and all, get into first place only to fail in epic fashion. Let us know when you guys do actually win something.
I’d like to “see” him pitch 9 tonight, but I know Bobby would like to give Wagner a chance to get a save. It the Braves score a couple of runs Wagner won’t have to pitch though.
I think you’re right on all points. I don’t want to jinx Tommy with CG talk, but the pitch count is there. Bobby will probably get Wags some work either way.
Way to go Tommy Gun! This is what I have been talking about! A pitcher stepping up and going 8 innings or more! Love it…absolutely love it. If we start hitting at all and score 4 runs a game, we will win a LOT…well, except when Lowe or KK pitch. (:
Mcout —- If the braves fans wouldn’t act like they invented baseball i wouldn’t bother being here. I’m enjoying the freefall the braves and their fans are going through. Oh and by the way…9-1 METS!!
