Why does Bobby keep putting me out there? I’m really bad, and tonight I have to lead off. I don’t even have ten hits this year. WTF? If I was still in Pittsburgh I might still have a shot at the All-Star team again.

This Braves skid is getting ridiculous. The only positive thing I can think of, is that they’ve hit rock bottom and they have no place to go but up. Plus McCann won’t hit 230 for the season I can guarantee that.

BravesFan1231, Carl Crawford is going to be a Yankee. All us players know it. Sabbathia’s his best friend, and the 2 have been talking about being Yankees together for a while. It pisses everyone in Tampa off to no end. The guys a great player but a total prima donna. Should be a great fit for the Yankees.

Only thing the Hawks have to fear is themselves because they’ve been killing themselves more than the Bucks have. I will do just fine the rest of the night if the Josh Smith doesn’t shoot one more long jumper. Didn’t do it all year and now all of a sudden he’s doing it. If they play the way that got them the 3rd seed they should win.

Ya know these stat nerds, and I’m talking about the guys who live in the world of the numbers after the games, rather than actually watching the actual performance, are just frustrated guys who were picked last when sides were being picked for the sandlot games. They have tried to justify that what they observe and can translate to a statistical probability makes them important.
Shaun, you have tried to twist every post to suit your needs. Your responses have made no sense. Your argument was that KJ could not produce enough offense to play a corner infield spot. Shows your ignorance when you can’t even see that any offensive output would be welcomed from any position at this point. YOU EVEN STATED THAT KJ WOULD STACK UP POORLY OFFENSIVELY AGAINST ANY FIRST BASEMEN. I countered that KJ offensively was superior to the production the Braves were getting from Glaus. You are the one who opened the door to discuss Glaus, by your blanket statement that KJ stack up poorly against other 1st basement. KJ might look puny beside Pujols or A Gonzalaz, but his numbers now look much better than many 1st basemen in the NL. The only person he has to be better than to make my point is current Braves position players and right now, his offensive production is much better than either corner outfielder the Braves are using.
My point from the very first post was that KJ could benefit a team no matter where he was in a lineup. You’re response was that his only real value was at 2b. Sorry…. I have to laugh again at your ignorance. KJ’s offense would “plug in anywhere” on a team who is last in their division, is an offensive embarassment and riding a nine game losing streak.
And last but not least Shaun, if the Braves are using your “learned” approach to managing a baseball team, no wonder they are riding a none game losing streak!
