njbraves……i hope your’re proud of yourself. I hope you’re from south jersey, that way I won’t feel so ashamed that one of my own has traded his northern uniform for the enemy,,,,,,You’re a disgrace. You must have gotten your a-s-s kicked in school you piece of you know what. I will not be addressing you again you worthless scum
I had to wait for VJ to get home so he could pour it for me
April 30th, 201010:52 pm
METS MADNESS, damn son! You still here braggin about the stupidest crap? MERCY, it’s barely May, dude. Loooooooooooooong ways to go. You must be new to baseball or probably just a typical foolish Mets fan, huh? Yep, that’s what you are.
When your team hits the wall be sure to come back. Gotta man up when things are going bad, just like you do what you do when things are going good for your team. Know what I’m sayin?

“Guitars, Cadillacs …(and Hillbilly Music)” …listen …”
I’m Glad I don’t know nothing about that my man (joking)
I do love that Georgia Satellites “Keep your hands to yourself”
Beavis and Butthead got me onto that!
Time to bump some old Three 6 Mafia “Who Run It!” That song is Crunk and I think the braves need to listen to it before games then they wouldn’t be so emotionless…!
Gotta get Tuned up for Lil Andy Goldstine’s Party tonight!
April 30th, 201010:53 pm
that way I won’t feel so ashamed that one of my own has traded his northern uniform for the enemy,,,,,,You’re a disgrace
The enemy? A disgrace? It’s baseball teams, not the Civil War here
and now he’s cooking steak Today is a good day
April 30th, 201010:55 pm
Come on people, don’t feed the monster. Its obvious mets man is here to just talk out his neck while his team is doing good and ours is down. As soon as they start doing bad, he will disappear. Thats how it works. There was a reason he wasn’t here a week in a half ago when the mets were in last place.
Dont you have your own blogs to write on, i bet your one of those fans where when the team is winning you brag about it, but when they are losing you step aside.
MetMadness….north jersey baby. I hate big mouth phonies like you. Your the guy who calls the FAN and cries about the Mets when they lose. You’re the guy who kills his team any chance he gets. But when they win, you’re the loser who runs his dumb mouth on another teams blog. You’re an embarassment to life, not just NJ.
April 30th, 201010:56 pm
DOB any postgame comments
April 30th, 201010:57 pm
I just think its hilarious that he talked about his team’s two WS titles he wasn’t around to see.
April 30th, 201010:58 pm
Tnbrian —- I’ll be here. I know it’s a very long season. I still think good baseball is to be applauded whenever it happens. Why should i have to wait until August to get roudy? If the braves were in the same position you know that the braves fans would be talking a whole ot of sh–it.
I agree, Top back is a great song..his new hit is bumpin..his first since being released from jail..
MET MADNESS, I am surprised you are still holding on the that blank, blank War ! Are you serious ?! Calling nj brave a trader ?! That is so funny ! Tell me this, How did the Italians take over the garden state ?!
13 games and counting, where Braves offense has scored 4 or less runs. They have to break out somewhere, sometime, soon, and “I pitty the teams” on the schedule when they find their groove.
April 30th, 201010:59 pm
Man, I’m from the north, too, but I don’t feel disgraced. (Maybe it’s the beer.)
April 30th, 201011:00 pm
The Mets’ anouncersm and fans make me hate their team.
You know what we call those types of braves fans, douche bags!!!
April 30th, 201011:01 pm
That’s like me, as a UT, fan talking smack to UGA fans about or 1951 NC. The Mets won in 1986 against the BoSox in ‘69. Based on his posts, I’m guessing he’s not old enough to have seen or remember either title. He’s a disgrace.
Met fans live in such a big, dark shadow to the Yankees that they just lose their minds when it’s going good. It must be tough to be a second class citizen in your own city. Yanks have you topped in every way possible… Stadium, payroll, talent, class, titles… The list goes on and on. Sorry little buddies, but it’s not our fault. Go yell at some Yankee fans. Oh, that’s right, you can’t because they just laugh at you and mock you like everyone else.
April 30th, 201011:02 pm
NJbraves = TRAITOR……The worst kind of citizen
April 30th, 201011:03 pm
MetMadness…. It’s rowdy, not roudy…… Just stop talking genius.
April 30th, 201011:04 pm
Well, Tom – I guess you’re a traitor too.
Oh yeah, rooting for the braves shows how you risen above it all…….PR–ICK
METS MADNESS= herpes of this blog
April 30th, 201011:05 pm
How am I a traitor?? Because I live in NJ and choose to root for the Braves?? Grow up junior.
NJbraves…….Your family must be so proud of you
April 30th, 201011:06 pm
METS MADNESS -
I live in LA and am a Braves fan…does that make me a traitor too or does that just apply to people on the East coast?
Can you please tell me how “choking” feels, you guys experienced it two years in a row.
April 30th, 201011:07 pm
I live in New York, and am a die hard braves fan.
April 30th, 201011:08 pm
Let’s see….we’ve got
-A Braves fan from New Jersey who comments on a Braves blog.
-A Mets fan from New Jersey who comments on a Braves blog.
April 30th, 201011:09 pm
Oh, cabrave, they hate the west coast ! You all are second hated by them. And then, the south !
April 30th, 201011:10 pm
Damn the Hawks. Tickets jumped from $10 a pop to $20 each in like 10 minutes for Game 7.
April 30th, 201011:11 pm
You must have become a braves fan after one of your falls or when the braves were a winning team. What will you do with yourself while the braves are sucking wind and the Mets are enjoying success. And as for your reference to the Yankees…..At least they’re from the neighborhood a-s-s-h-o-l-e
The J-Hey Kid

Get the exclusive J-Hey Kid shirt at http://jasonheywardfacts.com
A portion of all sales goes to the American Cancer Society.
I meant to say they hate the south first !
April 30th, 201011:13 pm
Awww, I love the little chop chop cheer Nate & Marteeeen did after his homer.
April 30th, 201011:14 pm
The wagon is slowing down……get off and push or get on another
Personally, I think I rank, at least, a little higher than a pedophile.
Yes, forget all the murderers and psychopaths out there….we need to rid the streets of these awful Yankee fans
OMG, get out of here kid. You are full of it.
April 30th, 201011:15 pm
I think he’s enjoying the fact that he’s irritating y’all.
April 30th, 201011:16 pm
Gee, MET MADNESS, Winning games and championships are more important than helping the human race ! You people up there are becoming more shallow with each passing day !
April 30th, 201011:18 pm
Braves’ las win before the 9 game losing streak: Hanson pitching, at Turner Field, Heyward and McLouth homered.
Tonight’s win: Hanson pitching, at Turner Fiels, McLouth and Heyward homered.
April 30th, 201011:19 pm
It is like arguing with a 12 year old. None of his points make sense, and when he knows he’s been out-witted on one, he goes on to some other crap that doesn’t make sense. I’m still confused over what exactly the Mets have actually won at this point. Your in first. Congratulations. There are a 139 games left this year. Jeez kid, didn’t you say you were leaving like half an hour ago. Did mommy give you an extension on bed time tonight?
It’s funny…we’re getting irritated because he doesn’t know how stupid he looks, but he keeps acting stupid because he likes irritating us. It’s like, the circle of life or something
April 30th, 201011:20 pm
Not all, Soph. I’m getting a kick out of him. (Again, though, it could be the beer.)

Who Is Dwight Y and what is Sling Blade?”
April 30th, 201011:30 pm
Two of the three greatest nights of my life were being at Shea in 1969 when the Mets clinched the Eastern Division, and the 6th game of the ‘86 World Series, and I’m a Braves’ fan…
April 30th, 201011:35 pm
Why is this Mets Madness guy spewing garbage on a Braves blog?
April 30th, 201011:36 pm
I dont know what is more shocking….the braves scoring 4 whole runs in one game, or 30,000 plus fans showing up to the first home game following the worst road trip in 60 years!!! I am a huge braves fan, but until management realizes cox and pendleton need to be nowhere near a braves dugout for us to be winners. The youth needs to brought up, and Chipper and Glaus should play sparingly, however with Cox still in the dugout it would be a futile effort as he would continue to play whoever he wants whenever he wants, no matter if they are hitting .140, in a terrible slump, cant play defense….he plays his favorites, and lets Chipper tell him what to do, and where he wants to bat, and any true talents, would just sit on the bench if Cox doesnt like them (see Prado last year-first half), and TP is a pro at messing up hitters, i think the proof is coming clearer everyday with the laundry list of former braves having career years once out of the grips of the grim reaper Pendleton…
April 30th, 201011:39 pm
I think McLouth is slowly starting to get back to normal, he should be kept in the leadoff spot for now. He did fine for us last year there, and while he has never been a high average guy, he is great at taking walks, doesnt K much, and has a good career OBP. He is a 20/20 guy, and he looks like the first of the group of underachievers that is slowly but surely hitting like the true Nate, the one we saw when he first came here last year, the one who was an allstar with Pitt in 2007. About a .260-.270 guy, with a good amount of walks, 15-20 hrs, 15-20 steals, and a good baserunner, who plays good defense (he’s already made some great catches this year).
Can I assume that Rasmus who pitched for Rome tonight is related to Colby Rasmus??
Was that last comment directed at me? (and who is daughter #3?)
April 30th, 201011:40 pm
I dont know what is more shocking….the braves scoring 4 whole runs in one game, or 30,000 plus fans showing up to the first home game following the worst road trip in 60 years!!!
Monger, don’t forget the Hawks game, also. I, too, was pleasantly surprised.
Tomahawkin ,,,Dwight Yoakam, singer, songwriter, part-time actor …”Sling Blade”, indie film w/ Billy Bob and Dwight …really good stuff
April 30th, 201011:41 pm
OK, guys. Get your monikers straight, will ya’?
Believe it, Toga Party!
Be back out here in about 12 hours. Talk to you guys tomorrow.
April 30th, 201011:43 pm
thanks, Carroll R …
April 30th, 201011:44 pm
Can you say World Series?
April 30th, 201011:45 pm
April 30th, 201011:47 pm
brian, I think they’re brothers, not positive, though. Monger, I agree. Nate looked great in leadoff spot. It would be nice 2 see him stay there and provide some stability. He seems more confidant and comfortable in that role.
April 30th, 201011:50 pm
With Heyward coming on really strong with one and almost two homers to start off the Houston series, I still think there is a long way to go, but I think this should be the lineup for now (once Yunel comes back in a day or two)…
1. McLouth CF
2. Prado 2B
3. Heyward RF
4. McCann C
5. Jones 3B
6. Cabrera LF (dont laugh, he’s finally starting to get some hits)
7. Hinske 1B
8. Escobar SS
Once Yunel starts hitting again, move him up to 5th or 6th, and if Chipper ever does start to hit with some power put him back in the 3 hole, but that seems unlikely…the best option for a guy that can still hit some doubles occassionaly with a decent average would be in the 5 hole. Heyward leads the team with 6 homeruns, and I think he should be in the 3rd or 4th spot, I think Mac, being a little more seasoned would be the best option in the cleanup spot, and he is due for a power surge, and will pick up his power numbers…I think this lineup works best….Glaus should be a pinch hitter and nothing more, he at least will give us some pop, and keep a Melky/ Diaz platoon and let Diaz hit against the lefties, as he will pick it up soon as well…McLouth and Melky are already showing signs of breaking out of their funks…
And a quiet peace reigneth throughout the land…at least for tonight….
April 30th, 201011:53 pm
Two of the three greatest nights of my life….. (Venice Jim)
I was asking you if the one you didn’t mention was the birth of your daughter? Geeeeeez!
VJ, did cabravesfan finally pass out go to bed?
Shut up njbraves…….You’re garbage. You should be embarrased to call your self a resident of the Garden State. You’re worse than a Yankee fan HOMO
Uh, shouldn’t all Jersey residents be embarrassed (or “embarrased” as you put it) to call themselves residents of the “Garden State”? What exactly are they growing in that garden anyway? Industrial chemicals and toxic waste?
May 1st, 201012:00 am
Tom – amazing coincidence, that’s what cab thought #3 was – as I explained, I knew she would be born – I never dreamed W&M would beat (sorry, Soph) UNC on 12/7/78…
May 1st, 201012:01 am
No, Tom, I did not “go to bed”!
May 1st, 201012:03 am
Sorry, dear, I couldn’t resist. (I expected the face)
May 1st, 201012:06 am

May 1st, 201012:26 am
worlds are colliding….
the hawks won a playoff road game. tiger misses a cut. the braves win.
liked “devil may care” yesterday when looking at the derby race guide.
got a hunch.
May 1st, 201012:28 am
anyone else love the triple crown? i have been to all three. nothing like post time at the main race.
Devil May Care was my pick too- gotta go with the girl named after a James Bond novel
May 1st, 201012:30 am
tiger misses a cut (uga-brave)
Wow! It’s hard to believe that he couldn’t find the hole.
May 1st, 201012:31 am
uga-brave – out in the morning to buy bourbon and mint…the first winner I picked was the first Derby I paid attention to -Kuaui King – but I refuse to say what year that was…
May 1st, 201012:32 am
for anyone interested. CHOPS is having a massiive derby party.
huge tent in the plaza between chops and the st. regis. these guys do it right. lots of fine women in big hats, great food, great maker’s mark drinks, and as always great service.
Tom O – how hard was it to come up with that line…oh, sorry, was that a double entendre?
May 1st, 201012:33 am
cab, we have to bet it now. have to.
May 1st, 201012:35 am
Just your run-of-the-mill golfing term for sucking, VJ.
tom, you ever get a look at sandra bullock’s new baby. pretty sure she used tiger to get back at jesse james, right?
put a little extra down for me…the whole lack of money thing makes it a little difficult on my end
May 1st, 201012:36 am
Whoa! What were you thinking?
Tom O – I am well acquainted with terms for sucking at golf, as that often describes me…
Medlen is the man
May 1st, 201012:37 am
Any update on Jurrjens? I hope he doesn’t miss any time; I mean I’m glad Medlen will likely get into the rotation but I’d rather have him replace Ja.pchi.nk Kawakrappy.
tom, you ever get a look at sandra bullock’s new baby.
Ha,ha. Saw her yesterday with the baby, for the first time, uga.
Tom – what I said… my bad…
May 1st, 201012:39 am
Me, too, VJ. That’s why I’m now an ex-golfer.
May 1st, 201012:43 am
