Anybody listening to the broadcast on the radio. Frickin hilarious! It cant be much longer until they basically sound like Uecker in Major League and start drinking in the booth
ESCOBAR has a gun at SS……………………. they just showed on a deep grounder to him. Braves will not win unless Chipper, Escobar, McSluth, Diaz and other start hitting. I never thought we would be as bad as the NATS.
I agree that the problem with KJ and JF was the coaching – specifically, I believe, the hitting coach. But I think it’s hard to make the case argument the manager supports a player too much while simultaneously causing him to fail.
I believe that Bobby’s greatest strength is his belief in his players. I also believe that this trait is so strong in Bobby’s personality that it hurts the players. It seems to me that Bobby goes too far in support of his players and that hurts them in the long run. Sometimes you have to sit a player down and let him get his head together.
[Dr. House]: So, Mr. … Wren. We have a diagnosis.
[Frank Wren]: Is it… is it treatable?
[Dr. House]: We’re not too sure about it. Your team has a ‘cocktail’ of deceases. Some of the members have Belliard’s, Sanders’, Mondesi’s, Corky Miller’s… and Norton’s decease, but you already knew aout that last one. It can’t be treated with chemotheapy or steroids.
[Frank Wren]: But, what would you do? Are you going to let them die?
[Dr. House]: They’ll be OK. You guys are ONLY 1/8 into the season. We could do some implants here and there but that could compromise your organization in the long term. Or…
[Frank Wren]: Or what?
{here Dr. House looks at somebody and has some kind of a epiphany)
A couple of days ago I thought that the weeping willies had just jumped of the cliff. The sky couldn’t really be falling yet could it? But I since something has really gone wrong with the Braves. There is some good talent on this team, including hitters(really) but holy crap they look like 1970’s Braves. The spirit is just not there. The main change seems to be leadership. Farewell year or not it is time for a change. It won’t be long before the team just quits on Cox. Chipper, you are not a help as a team leader. Talent? yes. Past it? probably, still egotisticle as hell? with out a doubt!

And we just gave up a 3 run bomb in the first inning….down 3-0!!! This is great, if we’re gonna be bad might as well go all out and be horrible.

Maybe Wren can draft to fill the Mets needs. That way he will have a good prospect to trade.

Is it considered running up the score if a team scores more than 1 run agsint the Braves?
