Look, you guys are being overly negative. It’s plain to see this restrained powerhouse of a team will burst through its bindings and soar to the top of the standings at any moment. HOF manager, farm system, corporate deep pockets, etc.
Rome Braves – gave up only 4 hits and one earned run tonight against the last place Greensboro Grasshoppers. Unfortunately they had 3 errors that led to an additional 4 unearned run while mustering only 3 hits and no runs themselves. Sound familiar???
When I saw tonight’s lineup, I was appalled, pizzed-off, mortified, petrified, horrified, disappointed, demoralized, and debilitated.
May have to attend losing-streak counseling.
I’ve been a Braves fan since the late 60s, and Heyward’s arrival is one of the five-most exciting thing to happen to this team since. I puked a little when I saw he wasn’t in the lineup.
Dobi – I love you mate but if anyone in the ATL criticizes a gungho 20 year old with the batting patience of Methusala and the highest rbi on a crappy… I mean really effing foooooking crappy team then they suk dead dogs old fellas…. but hey that is just moi
let me get this straight – Glaus, Cabrera, Diaz, and McLouth all have hits and we still can’t score. What are the odds that those 4 would have a single hit apiece by the 5th inning in the same game this year?
What the hell is Bobby doing? Pujols hits a weak ball past Chipper that should have been an out. Then he intentional walks a guy to set up another DP, and then he goes to the bullpen? What for?
bad thing about starting out this bad is nobody is going to want to go see a bunch of losers and then we not only have a bad team but a team with no revenue
Well that series of decisions didn’t pan out so well for Cox & the Braves. KK wasn’t getting beaten around & three of his walks were IBB. He can’t help the pitiful defense that’s behind him & the putrid offense that can’t muster a run.
Lord I pray that you remove the curse that is upon us. Forgive Frank Wren of his sins and lead us not into last place but deliver us from the cardinals soon.
If we can lose tomorrow, the Lastros will be in for 3 this weekend. With any luck we will have 12 straight loses by Monday and well on our way to the 17 straight of 1977.
