Sorry, if you live in the 706 area code, you can’t get the Braves in HD when they play on Peachtree TV. Or maybe it’s just my house. All I know is that I don’t get the games in HD and I saw someone on here say the line of demarcation was the perimeter. Yeah, yeah, yeah, life is hard, I know. But if I’m going to watch this train wreck of a team, at least let me enjoy the picture.

Braves now have 5 guys, not including the pitcher, batting below .200 in the lineup tonight.
By comparison the worst team in the league, Baltimore, has only 2 guys batting below .200

Diaz has a terrible swing working now. He pulls his head out like me on my golf swing. His last swing looked like a 2 handed forehand in tennis trying to put topspin on the ball.

This has to be the worst fielding team the Braves have put on the field in a long time. It is painful to watch. Long term, I think that is a bigger issue than hitting. The hitting will come around at some point, but the poor defense is alarming.

Plus, a pitcher with a 5.00 ERA and a D that has committed 20 errors in 21 games. Doesn’t paint a pretty picture now does it? Maybe a change in how spring training is conducted is in order? Even when the Braves were winning pennants, they often started out slow and then went on a run in June.

Can anyone remember a more frustrating stretch being a Braves fan. 2008 was bad, but until Kelly Johnson dropped a pop up in early June, we were 2.5 games out of first place.

I hate when the camera points at Yunel when talking about defense. Like it was his fault the guy hit a tricky lazer at him that he couldn’t field. Most ANY, if not every SS in the game would’ve been ate up by that. Back off Esco!

Why is it that Kelly Johnson changes teams and suddenly he is hitting like everyone in Atlanta predicted he could? I mean all he did was change teams. Why is that? Why did that happen? Is this not the same Kelly Johnson? Is it not the same player who played for Bobby Cox and TP?

This Brendan Ryan looks like he could be a braves player, maybe we should trade for him:
.164 average, would fit right in, maybe trade him for Prado, who is overacheiving with a .362 average.

Hah, keep telling yourself that Chuck. Our D would have owned Weinke the way we owned the rest of your team that game. Al Wilson was out for blood in that game. It was never close. Peter Warrick was supposed to light us up and he didn’t do squat. We had Tee Martin playing QB plus Jamal Lewis was out for the season. I think Jamal was a little better of a player than Weinke. Our team didn’t make excuses, though. They just went out and won a NC after losing their best player for the year.

There’s a girl at the mall here in Chattanooga that used to date one of the current Braves players. My brother-in-law told me he forgot the players name, but I’m going to find out. He said she still talks to him all the time.

Alright about time to fire one of the coaches. Either Bobby or TP. Don’t care either way, but someone has to take the fall when an offense starts off the season this flat. If the Manager wasn’t Bobby Cox, his job would be in jeopardy. And some of the announcers believe the manager in waiting is TP. Which would make him off limits to fire as well. Absurd…but true.
