Perez had an amazing lefty-righty split last year…pretty much unheard of for a starting pitcher. Right handers were Jimmie Foxx, left handers were Rafael Belliard.

Rodney,

On what grounds do you assume the Phils are 8-10 games better? I’d love to hear your reasoning. Better yet, I’d love to understand the heavy researched method you used to come up with such figures.

u seriously think thought KJ was better than Prado?

I don’t want to get into it. It’s still a sore subject. In fact, if I start getting into it, I’ll start resenting Prado again.

did you read the part about him wanting to coach alongside his best friend in baseball whom he had known for quite a while? I’d say he left because he thought it would work out better than it did.

I know it doesn’t mean much because it’s spring training, but the Braves have the highest differential of runs scored vs runs allowed in the Grapefruit league. (+20).

Roman Gal……..your resentment is misguided. If Kelly didnt SUCK so much, Prado never would have had an opportunity to unseat Kelly at second.

My question to you is this: Where does your allegiance lie first? The Braves team or individual players? My reasoning is that if one is truly a BRAVES FAN first and foremost, then one would want to see the players out on the field who gives us a best chance to win.

Prado and Diaz’s emergence helped kick start the Braves offense in the 2nd half of the last season. Sure, I maybe understand you taking a liking to Kelly. However, do you want your desire to see Kelly given chance after chance to SUCK override your desire to see the Braves win?

Am I the only one that thinks Greg Madux would be a great replacement for Bobby Cox when he retires? The guy is so baseball smart and everyone loves him. I say we make him the coach and let Smoltz or Glavin be the pitching coach. With a good front office, we would go on to win another 14 strait.
