Proctor had 166 appearances in two-year span

166 – relief appearances for Scott Proctor during the 2006-2007 seasons with the Yankees and Dodgers. He had 153 strikeouts in a whopping 188-2/3 relief innings in those two seasons.

It shouldn’t have surprised many when Proctor required flexor-tendon surgery during the 2008 season, the first of two elbow surgeries in a span of 19 months for the workhorse right-hander. Now he’s nearing a hopeful return to the majors with the Braves.

I agree about the spring training hats. They look awful. The ones they have had the past few years look good – either with the red trim near the ears or the black

Just a few more mini-blogs, and the Damon blog will be pushed off the page, eh? Nice recovery.

And Roodge Owns: No, actually. Not until I write another main blog will that get pushed off. I’ll do one tomorrow. If I wanted it off tonight, I’d do one tonight. But I don’t.

DOB: Looks like Wags is wearing #13, so what number did McClouth switch to? Looking for a big year from him, Nate I mean.

KW, McLouth is wearing number 24 this year, as Jordan Schafer has switched to #2

Thanks tv. I’m pulling for Schafer as well. I think the Braves can use him somewhere.

I have lived in Scott Proctor’s home town for 25 years and the word around here is that he has been working hard all winter. In addition to that he is also very active in helping local teens in sports activities and is a very popular member of the community. Everyone here seems to be pulling for him and for good reason.
