ncscoots: I’d hate to think it’s inconclusive when my doc tells me, “No, you don’t have prostate cancer.”, because, bubba, I won’t be asking for any second opinions. Or for the procedure that would go with them, LOL. And who is TH? I’m blank on that.

Come on, man. You tend to argue out of context. The context is you have a symptom, in JJ’s case, it’s shoulder soreness or pain or whatever, in “your” case, it’s an extreme high PSA reading, high frequency of bathroom going, etc. etc. After knowing all that, and your doc told you you don’t have a prostate problem, are you still absolutely relieved, and without having at least another opinion? And especially if that also happened to your brothers (sorry, just saying, for the sake of argument)? BTW, TH=Tim Hudson

Jersey Number Updates: Joe Thurston has taken Frenchy’s old #7, and Brent Clevlen is now Loaf’s old 18. Proctor is 36. Mitch Jones is 30, Boscan 22, Gomez 33, rest of them posted on the Non Roster Invitees list. Will be helpful to any and all going to Disney.

AndyK-Only problem with Conrad is that if you take those 32 at bats away from him, his name wouldn’t even been in the conversation, nor would anyone even have a clue who he is. Besides, he’s not even a decent defensive sub, Rather have Diory, or better yet, someone else that can hit occasionally.

The Americans are doing awful at this curling thing…haven’t won yet in the women’s or men’s competition.

N8, i agree it needed to pick up some…they are running out of time!

you are right, that last scene with locke and sawyer could potentially really get the ball rolling. it shines light on the numbers, why certain folks are so drawn to the island, and “the list”. here is something i found that may interest you, some guy copied down all the names and numbers he saw. scroll down a bit and youll see what im talking about.

Lew, That’s why even though I root for Conrad or a guy like Young, I think Thurston will ultimately win out. He played, even started most of last year with the Cards, and even though he’s not great at the plate, he can hit, and plays passable defense around the diamond.

Heath-Americans don’t take well to brooms. Now if they could use a vacuum cleaner – maybe one with an old 350 Chevy engine in it? Different story altogether.

koolmap, not sure will try and find out for ya…for the second time, did it two years ago, I coughed up the $99 and go the mlb.tv package…that way I can watch almost any and all MLB games (especially the Braves) all year long…very cool for out of market/traveling fans

the mlb.tv package includes 150+ spring games too…guys like joerochester are lucky though, because SNY has the March 2nd Braves/Mets game.

Yeah, DAP, that seems to be the question at hand. Why them and why those numbers. My favorite part was when he (Locke guy) pulled the white rock off the scale and chucked it into the ocean, and when asked why he did that by Sawyer, his response was “inside joke”.

That was awesome.

Andrew in PA, yes all games are archived and you can go back and watch them, from what I’ve been told…if you get the basic $99 package, you have access to gameday, radio broadcast, and tv broadcast, with archives until like the second week of February 2011.

Last year there was considerably less ST games on the mlbradio. Two years ago almost every game was on. Not sure if that has to do with mlb’s side, or the two teams not having radio broadcast of the game.

I didn’t get Extra Innings last year, and waited until September to get the mlb tv at a discount. But I think I’ll just pony up the cash and do the mlb tv right away this year. While it would be much more relaxing to sit on my couch and watch, it’s nice to not have to waste dvr space to watch it later with the archive. Not to mention with how much I’m out of town, can watch them on the laptop at 2:00 from the hotel if I want to.

That could be Joe Thurston; I think that’s why Braves signed him this winter, with that in mind more than Gwinnett. But we’ll see DOB

I sure hope not cause that guy can’t hit a lick. :(
