It’s mainly because I don’t feel like eating the ribs we have in the fridge (and what is wrong with garlic fries? They are fantastic :) )

And thanks- I keep hoping I will feel better but…not so much

Macon Braves (RIP)……….Not having Colt McCoy in there is a big reason why Texas had to settle for 2 field goals. I’m sure that they didnt game play McCoy getting hurt on the first possession. Notice how Texas didnt have Gilbert throw the ball on either of those 2 possessions until 3rd down.

Heath…….I think what Soph meant was that playing for a National Championship is important to Colt McCoy. To work your A$$ off for 4 years only to get hurt at the very beginning of the last game of your career, in the National Championship game, has to be killing McCoy right now.

Soph

Awww, thanks cab. Fries are my weakness. :-D

Heath & tiger, I get that McCoy’s famous, popular and going to make his millions but to get hurt and not be able to play in the biggest game of your career so far? I do feel bad – sucks for him IMO. He doesn’t deserve that.

“I keep hoping I will feel better but…not so much” , I guess Nala and Jim should keep their distance, until you’re better. However, that’s probably like asking a moth to stay away from the fire. :)

Texas has no confidence in Gilbert. Run on first, run on second and throw a short pass on 3rd down. 3 possessions in a row with Gilbert in there that this has been the pattern.

Brandon—It’s been several years ago now. The Daily Sun was on Watson Blvd just down from the hospital, right next to a CVS back then (don’t know if the CVS is still there or not). I left the Sun a while before they closed and took a job with the Telegraph a while later. They were actually both owned by the same company (the name is slipping my mind at the moment) and the Telegraph just kind of took it over and the offices where the Sun was became where the people working on the Houston/Peach section were based at. Last time I was down that far on Watson (which has been a couple of years ago actually), the building still had the Telegraph sign on the front.

‘Bama has a great team. But honestly, I don’t know that much can be proven tonight, other than the Tide is a lot better than Texas when Texas has a freshman with almost no experience playing quarterback.

I think it would have been a helluva game. But ‘Bama will be national champions, and deserving. Just unfortunate way to finish season.
