Jurrjens4NLCY………now that was funny.

Did you ever see ‘Pulp Fiction’ when Eric Stoltz’s skanky girlfriend asked Uma Thurman to “say something” after John Travolta revived her from her overdose when he stuck her with that big A$$ needle…….and she said, “something”?

Lentz’s obsession with Derek Lowe is not without precedent. It started with his outright hatred of Jeff Francoeur. After JF was traded to the Mets and he got his first hit against the Braves, Lentz went into a frenzy and posted FIVE times in NINE minutes almost the exact same thing about a “looping hit”. Lentz is one sick b!tch as you can see in the post right after the hit.

Paul Lentz

He really hit the crap out of that one, lol. Looping single to right field.

Lucky hit.

Paul Lentz

July 11th, 2009

He got lucky on that hit…….the pitcher jammed him and he looped it to right field, right in between the first baseman and right fielder.

Paul Lentz

You guys are too funny. Francoeur gets a looping hit after getting jammed……and some of you want to jump on the “Jeff Francoeur jock sniffing” bandwagon.

Paul Lentz

The Reds pitcher isnt getting anyone out. Bases loaded, 1 out, 3-0 Mets. Francoeur’s looping hit was the weakest hit ball by the Mets so far.

Plate Appearance………..you are “a day late and a dollar short” with your “update”. I’m watching the game on Direct TV’s MLB Extra Innings package. Francoeur was jammed inside and got lucky with that looping hit that fell in between the first baseman and right fielder

David O’brien………kind of hard to hate one of the best films of the past 20 years. I love Samuel Jackson’s character (Jules). I’ve made it obvious how I feel about religion in the past. However, the scene where he quotes from the book Ezekiel in the Old Testament before he shoots ‘Brett’ in the 2nd scene of the movie is priceless.

Overall great film. I can pretty much quote the whole movie. One of the greatest collection of actors ever assembled for a film.

Quentin gets on my nerves quite a bit. But it’s hard to dislike Pulp Fiction. It’s hard to think now how different it was (on top of just being good). My friend called me on the phone after he saw it and was like “and… you won’t believe it… they’re on their way to kill these dudes, and they’re talking about hamburgers. Freaking HAMburgers.”

That wouldn’t raise an eyebrow now. But nobody (that I know of, on a big market level) had done gangsters THAT kind of cool before.

And Jackie Brown is almost my favorite movie period. But in the words of Mr. Blue, “after [that] … I tuned out.”

I can understand the distaste for QT. It does eventually wear thin, and sometimes he seems too gross. And his interviews. Lord. His mannerisms. Cool out, dude. Develop a scrap of swagger. You can invent calm people. Be one for a minute. I mean, Scorsese has the same kind of energy, but he keeps it so chill. Well, all this is personal.

Kill Bill sucks. There, that’s detached enough.
