I agree about Uggla..horrendous fielder..all or nothing hitter..BA has been around .240 all year. Alfonso Soriano could not play for Bobby..he does not hustle..one of the worst outfielders. I think Cubs will resign Lee.

Yes, he lost 4 WS…but 14 straight division titles..a professional sports record…remember when they caught the Giants in ‘92. Tony LaRussa is respected..but disliked by players in his OWN clubhouse..has any ex brave EVER said anything bad about Bobby?..Ask Javier Vasquez how much he enjoyed this season playing for Bobby instead of that idiot in Chicago

Heck of a year guys. Perhaps if Hudson came back sooner we just might have made it. I am so proud of the Braves this year because they did not quit. They did not give up. Good job. I am proud to be a Braves fan-for life.

I believe all you “so called” Braves fans need to quit your crying. Since June 28th the Braves……………yes your Braves have the best record in baseball. I think the front office and Bobby Cox did a tremendous job in getting this team to be a contender from what they had when they broke camp in April especially with the budget restrictions they have and my hats off to them. If you think things are bad now then I wish you could go back in time and experience the Braves teams in the 70’s as I did. Half of you wouldn’t be posting blogs here because you would have given up on them. The 14 year run has spoiled much of you and you should be happy that your Braves gave you hope right up until game 158.

I think they should have chipper redo his contract because he sure wasnt worth his money and put incentives in there for games played , batting average . Trade Lowe for maggy doesnt sound bad as long as Detriot pays the difference between the contracts which is about 3 million plus maggy will be a free agent at the end of next year . That will clear money . Huddy should take a huge paycut but with incentives with innings pitched that can make it higher .

I hear the Rangers are willing to headline a trade for a frontline SP with Nelson Cruz. That’s 33 HRs and a cannon arm in RF. And he’s 28, I think. Would the Braves and Rangers pull the trigger on a Vasquez-Cruz deal?
