There is 75,000 people where I live, and usually there is anywhere between 3000 and 6000 people at the frickin’ D-League basketball games. 15,000 people at a MLB baseball game in the midst of a pennant race is embarrassing for the city of Atlanta. What would be too funny is if the Braves get into the playoffs and MLB issues blackouts for the games.
Too many times pitchers get fancy when opposing players are trying to GIVE them an out. They get to two strikes and then lace a hit. Or they bunt and somebody stupidly tries to throw out the lead runner.
Steve, I take it you is won of the Atlanta natives that should be at the game instead of blogging? Uther wize you wood have agreed with me, rather than knitpikked on gramer, rite?
The attendance is truly embarrassing. What would make me think there would be more people there? I actually thought there would be.
I wish they could just put it out of their minds. They act like wounded little animals. It really shouldn’t matter how many people there are. Just win. I don’t care about Josh Johnson. We beat him before, we’ll beat him again.
That was a text book relay throw, prado lining up the throw then esco with the great catch, rock, and fire. McCann made a great catch by letting the ball come to his glove and not reaching out for it so he could make the quick tag. He was out by about 6 inches.
Only 1 run when it could have been 2 with a runner on second and the leadoff hitter up.
We’re gonna score at least 4 runs tonight so we’re in good shape.
BTW, Steve. I graduated from college in 1991 and now make enough money owning my own business, where I can blog with my poor grammar all day long. How about you?
