Carroll, DOB: Forgive me if people are already talking about this and I’ve missed it. But can we start some buzz going about how if the Braves were to make the playoffs, and then make it to the Series, it would set up Bobby Cox to manage the All-Star game in his final year next year? Wouldn’t that be a treat, for Bobby, and all the players and fans that have been a part of his long career? I feel like if we start talking about this, that it will help it happen. Buzz Machine: GO!

13r4v3z: Do you realize a pitcher can get a loss for giving up 1 run in 9 innings? Don’t ever judge a pitcher on his win-loss record. Bring me some other stats from the guy that is a rookie pitching in a league 10 times different than Japan. I’ve been extremely satisfied with him this year. Not to mention, he was our best big game pitcher when he was starting.

Mitchell

No excuse losing to a third place team at a time like this.

We tie the game and then they come back and get a little single through the hole in left.

They haven’t really done enough in my opinion to earn this win, the Marlins.

Huddy was definitely a disappointment but he did exactly what Jamie Moyer does in every start. He goes 5, gives up 6 runs and the Phillies score 12.

He doesn’t really deserve to lose. You have to pick your teammates up.
