Damn, Yunel – what happened to that majic you are supposed to work with men in scoring position????
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????
September 29th, 20099:53 pm
one lousy hit just one!
Martin Prado & Yunel Escobar: the first pitch swinging rally killers.
fail … escobar. They’re still stinking it up with runners in scoring position, and escobar’s avg with RISP keeps getting lower and lower
still have LaRoche Diaz infante
Worthless attempt at an at-bat right there.
Pitch right down the middle and he grounds out to pitcher, what a bunch of BS!!!!!!!!!!
September 29th, 20099:54 pm
Said, woman, take it slow
It’ll work itself out fine
All we need is just a little patience
Said, sugar, make it slow
And we come together fine
All we need is just a little patience
September 29th, 20099:55 pm
still got a shot its only one run
Bottom 5, 2-1 MILWAUKEE
Brian the Brain
Looking ahead…who do we PH for Gonzalez?
is that 10 men left on?
Shut them down, Gonzo.
Steve from OH
Chris–Bravo! Great song…
Is that Radar Gun right? 88 mph for Gonzalez??
Nova Scotia Steve - Fight Like A Brave
Is Coghlan up every inning or what
2 innings left…hold em there and score twice
YOU GOTTA BELIEVE
September 29th, 20099:56 pm
Either Infante or KJ. Based on Bobby’s recent decisions, I say he goes with Infante.
Nice play, BMac!
Brian and brain
September 29th, 20099:57 pm
No, Conrad…I think Bobby likes him more.
Paul & Carroll too:
The Braves are two games in the loss column because of Chipper Jones – and I do not mean that in a good way. Chipper was counted on for his usual production this season; that expectation rose exponentially when Francoeur didn’t pan out, and was traded. Thanks to Chipper’s weak, ailing, aging bat, Bobby had to lean on McCann excessively throughout this season. The result? A tired McCann trying to carry this team. McCann is a lot of things; McCann, however, is not Mike Piazza.
i say Gonzo for 2 innings
If Freddy brings in Calero, then I’d pinch hit Kelly or Church.
September 29th, 20099:58 pm
Could this be our first 1-2-3 inning of the game?????????????
I’d rather see Escobar and Diaz at the plate with runners on right now than anyone one else. He didn’t come through this time, but he’s come through more than anyone else has to this point. I guess people have forgotten about this past Saturday when he had some big hits and rbi’s.
NOPE….at least it didn’t go out of the ball-park…cause it was damn close
oh hey its the white ryan howard
The Marlins announcers said they would not trade Coughlan for Hanson.
Haha…Joe wasn’t kidding…
kirknga I love to see McCann hustling around the bases!
Yeah…still not over that popup, though.
Damn that Coghlan.
Okay, that guy is becoming like Howard. Just walk him for crying out loud.
September 29th, 20099:59 pm
Someone please zip a fastball at Coghlan, he is on my last damn nerve
HAWPE on, no outs, BARMES up
He is making a name for himself
RHR and Bravesgrl4life….lol
Like I said, no more Coghlan, please.
September 29th, 200910:00 pm
Give Coghlan credit as he has hit every mistake thrown to him.
Lets do this Braves
September 29th, 200910:01 pm
please get a run….please boys….ya gotta dig down
Nice job GONZO!!!
I STILL BELIEVE!!!!! LET’S GO BRAVES!!!!!!!
Coghlan ROY I’m sold. And that comming from big, BIG Braves fan like myself.
You would think we and the rest of the NL would have Couglins scouting report by now.
Frankie Goes to Hell, STFU!!!!! It was actually whiteboy Hudson that lost this game for us, we would actually be up 4-1 if not for his dumbass giving up 4 runs through the first 5 innings, so STFU already
Piffle. I ain’t giving him shhh.
September 29th, 200910:02 pm
It would help – when pitching to Coghlan -
don’t throw the ball in the strike zone!
It took me 3 or 4 times seeing that Wendy’s commercial to learn that that “One can enjoy a Frosty with a spoon…or a fry” kid was a boy.
Luckily, they play it about 10 times a game.
Coughlan hands down ROY Tommy Hanson very close. Have you seen Coughlan stats they are nasty
My boy Kelly….is sittin’ on “G”…waitin’ on “O”…and I say…”It’s “Go Time” baby !!!
September 29th, 200910:03 pm
Frankie — the dude hasn’t pitched since Sept. 21. What do you expect? And don’t try saying, “well, in Japan, he started once every six days” — not applicable here.
Come on dude — BELIEVE!!!!!!
I hear ya McFann, that was not one of his better at bats. He’s pressing right now and we need him to get back on track because even if they make the playoffs, they aren’t likely to go far if Chipper and he don’t pick it up some.
Does everyone in their pen have a sub 2 ERA??? WTF
It’s hard to believe we can’t find a way to make up one run.
We cannot lose this game. We need a three run homerun because Bobby Cox’s ABC baseball gets and F.
See what I did there?
Frankie G 2 H: KK didn’t allow four runs tonight in the biggest game of the year to date.
Ya know, I think I’ll pass on Hudson. Let the Mutts have ‘im.
September 29th, 200910:04 pm
Lets work a walk
Somebody needs to take a pitch off their knee.
September 29th, 200910:05 pm
cmon get a walk
Well people said that about Francoeur for awhile too.
end of 5th. 2 – 1 Brewers.
The Bird and Indian
This is the inning that changes the year baby!
September 29th, 200910:06 pm
I love Adam…and we wouldn’t be here without em…but he hasn’t looked that great
DON’T STOP BELIEVING
There ya go, Braves…save it for the walk off
Top of the sixth, 2-1 BREWERS.
What is wrong with Adam LaRoche?
that seems so long ago
September 29th, 200910:07 pm
This guy is a bit wild lets make him work
Great, the guy we traded for to come through with good hitting has just gone 0-4 with 2 strikeouts, so worth it.
COME ON MATTY
September 29th, 200910:08 pm
O.J.: You’re clueless.
take one matty
Argh, seeing the Rockies/Brewers update just makes this even more frustrating. Come on Braves!
Oh PAULY LOSER …… you rip those you feel deserve it, so you understand then why I rip you. You totally deserve it. So why are you so “scared” to converse with me???
B/c you a lame a$$ wuss who thinks his opinions or thoughts actually carry some sort of importance to others.
PLEASE tell us more about this whole scoring more runs than the other team concept….
maybe we could also try to throw the little white ball over the white plastic thing on the ground, or maybe we could try to hit the ball into the green grassy field so as the other team cannot catch it…….
Can’t wait for your next stupified post…………….
How hard is it to get a walk?
September 29th, 200910:09 pm
Nice swing, just got under it. Can’t blame him for swinging on 3-1.
COME ON INFANTE BABY!!!!! BELIEVE!!!
Nunez…coming up in the btm of the 9th…he can be aweful tough
Saving Kelly for the walk-off too, I see.
Yikes, three double plays that the Brewers have grounded into….
Come on,Omar, get us a rally going here, please (begging)
Update from Colorado: Mike Cameron is worthless. Hit into another DP.
September 29th, 200910:10 pm
I am afraid there is nothing left in the tank
Good eye Omar
September 29th, 200910:11 pm
Oh, the tank’s on F, SRF.
13r4v3z: That has no part in why I’m calling him clueless. KK has no reason to be blamed for this one so far.
ROX up bottom of the sixth. Still 2-1 Mil.
I would like to get Nate up in this inning.
September 29th, 200910:12 pm
Wow what a break. That was ball 4.
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
