The Braves are two games in the loss column because of Chipper Jones – and I do not mean that in a good way. Chipper was counted on for his usual production this season; that expectation rose exponentially when Francoeur didn’t pan out, and was traded. Thanks to Chipper’s weak, ailing, aging bat, Bobby had to lean on McCann excessively throughout this season. The result? A tired McCann trying to carry this team. McCann is a lot of things; McCann, however, is not Mike Piazza.
I’d rather see Escobar and Diaz at the plate with runners on right now than anyone one else. He didn’t come through this time, but he’s come through more than anyone else has to this point. I guess people have forgotten about this past Saturday when he had some big hits and rbi’s.
Frankie Goes to Hell, STFU!!!!! It was actually whiteboy Hudson that lost this game for us, we would actually be up 4-1 if not for his dumbass giving up 4 runs through the first 5 innings, so STFU already
Frankie — the dude hasn’t pitched since Sept. 21. What do you expect? And don’t try saying, “well, in Japan, he started once every six days” — not applicable here.
I hear ya McFann, that was not one of his better at bats. He’s pressing right now and we need him to get back on track because even if they make the playoffs, they aren’t likely to go far if Chipper and he don’t pick it up some.

B/c you a lame a$$ wuss who thinks his opinions or thoughts actually carry some sort of importance to others.
PLEASE tell us more about this whole scoring more runs than the other team concept….
maybe we could also try to throw the little white ball over the white plastic thing on the ground, or maybe we could try to hit the ball into the green grassy field so as the other team cannot catch it…….
