you gotta be kidding me
WOW — no faith whatsoever from some of you supposed ” fans ” ……
Braves will make a comeback bid in this game, and if and when they do everyone of you should post an “I’m sorry for being a lame a$$ supporter”
Go Bravos !!!!
Good news – no one can complain about Norton batting in a crucial late-inning situation tonight – KEY WALK!
Nova Scotia Steve - Fight Like A Brave
Give Norton some credit…Good AB
Greg Norton is on base. How you guys holding up?
September 29th, 20098:48 pm
Nate needs to step it up
wow he got on
YES! Greg Norton is batting!
I’m seriously glad that he’s hitting here, cause that means that he won’t be pinch-hitting at a more vital moment of the game in later innings. Come on Norty!
Now to follow the obvious stupidity of our HOF manager, he will put Medlin in to finish us off for the night and the season.
Brewers threatning in the 1st.
Carroll how many people are at the ballgame
Brewers threatening in the top of the 1st
we need some doubles
How in the world can Josh Johnson walk Greg “cant hit his way out of a paper bag” Norton?
Perhaps Greg Norton should be called a “pinch walk specialist” instead of a pinch hitter because he cant hit worth SHYT.
September 29th, 20098:49 pm
I can’t believe we’re not pinch running for Norton.
Pirates let go of Nate for a reason, they saw something
surprising that Norton didn’t get lost on his way to first
September 29th, 20098:50 pm
Or start walking to third.
So Nate McLouth…take a fastball right down the middle and swings at one up by his eyes.
Top of the first bases loaded one out for the BREW-Crew. DP finishers the inning. ROX coming to bat.
September 29th, 20098:51 pm
Prado please get on for Chipper
If we lose this thing I think you can think McCouth and Diaz for their striking out ability.
“The book” on someone struggling…….high cheese.
You’d think Nate would know that.
mclouth has been worthless
September 29th, 20098:52 pm
I know Nates week spot High inside fastball
Steve from OH
Don’t tell people to shut up and then relax. That doesn’t work.
Only if you’re very tightly wound, as it appears you are. Don’t take it so personally; wasn’t intended that way. Chill.
How’s the press box? You know these guys are baffled with Norton gets on base.
Yeah…it’s a good song.
I’d take a bases loaded double in this inning, but that’s just me…
alright lets cash in
September 29th, 20098:53 pm
Come on Chipper dammit.
Get a hit. Why are we not pinch running for Norton? I don’t get it.
Thank-you Hanley defense
So….Here’s our rock….in a big spot in the game…
P. W. Hjort
I’m calling a 3-run jack right here.
big spot chipper
McClouth why don’t you go back to the bench and let Norton replace you. At least Norton can get on base with a walk every once and a while.
This is our chance, dont blow it
man one swing could tie this…………..can’t look
September 29th, 20098:54 pm
A 3 run bomb and I’m getting bombed
The Braves losing this game wont be the end of the world. This was the one game that I was looking at in the last 13 games of the season that I felt that the Braves could lose. By winning our previous 7 games, we gave ourselves a little breathing room. However, if we lose this game, we HAVE to win the remaining 5 to have any shot.
Still, this game is far from over. Johnson looks like he is tiring. Plus that Marlins bullpen isnt exactly shutting people down. At most Johnson will last 6 innings, which will give us 3 cracks at that Marlins bullpen.
WHERE WAS THAT
September 29th, 20098:55 pm
HOME RUN COUNT.
good pitch to hit
THAT WAS A HUGE WALK!
Loaded for BIG MAC
September 29th, 20098:56 pm
No pressure, big guy…
Huge part of this ball game and we need a clutch hit….
big spot for Mac, need to deliver in these spots with the bases loaded
Hudson’s fresh off of Tommy John surgery, was he really ready to be thrust into a situation like tonight> I like Hudson but I dont think so. When he was announced as tonight’s starter I knew that would be dangerous. Go Braves!
lol Vinings Jim
Couch Tater–well, I stand corrected, LOL! I’ll re-phrase: It’s like comparing apples to rutabagas.
I think that we got a break on that 3-1 pitch. Or perhaps Chipper’s eye at the plate got the umpire’s call in our favor.
could use a walk
Keep throwing balls Johnson!
3 more walks back-to-back-to-back and it’s tied…
This would be a GREAT TIME for our first grand slam of the year.

Mitchell: “Don’t tell people to shut up and then relax. That doesn’t work.”
Too right, noisome gnat.
How ’bout ’shut up and swallow your tongue, mite’?
September 29th, 20098:57 pm
A granny would be kinda nice here.
LOVE THE NOISE
BELIEVE!! im so freaking anxious
Come on BMac!
Come on crush it Mac
September 29th, 20098:58 pm
left the bases loaded…….
mac … fail
Mac, that is so god damn terrible.
Rockies winning already. This could be the end of the season.
Count de Monet
Only NL team without a grand slam this year. Pretty sad.
Glass half full – he threw a lot of pitches?
Adda Boy Huddy
I wish Chipper wouldn’t have walked there. Love McCann, but Chipper is who we need in the clutch. Oh well, this game isn’t over yet!
McCann you no clutch hitting goof.
Not going to get too many opportunities like that
Kawakami coming in. 91 pitches for Johnson through five.
That really is killing me on the inside
September 29th, 20098:59 pm
That was disappointing. How many more opportunities are we gonna get in this game?
I think we just threw away our best chance there…

They’re not winning this game. A crappy performance from Tim Hudson doesn’t mean you can get away going 0-for-everything with RISP like last night.
AHHHHHHHH, good cut, just a little under it.
Thats the season folks.

My remote control is now strewn across the carpet in approximately 50 different pieces.
We still have 4 more cracks to score 3 runs. There’s a chance that Johnson is done for the night. If so, then there is no reason to think that we cant come back.
However, if the bullpen doesnt hold them, it wont matter. We need a shutdown performance from the pen tonight.
are you frickin kidding me?!?!?!? A pop up?? What kind of crap is that? That was our prime opportunity to put a few up on the board and our clean up hitter pops up. Thats so great!!!
At least Johnson is out of the game you woud think.

Needed something there. this game is over
When’s the last time Kawakami pitched…this could be ugly
