Braves Manager Bobby Cox Agrees to Contract Extension
The Atlanta Braves announced today that they have agreed to terms with manager Bobby Cox on a one-year contract extension through the 2010 season and that the team’s entire coaching staff will be brought back next year.

If we could get Crawford on the cheap side since he’s having an off year, it might me a good investment to sign him to a two deal if the rays decline his option(Thawkin)
Yeah I understand where you are coming from I just don’t agree much but that’s cool. Mainly it’s just too early to know what will happen since he might get renewed there. I wouldn’t hate getting him at all, but he’s another LHed hitter and overpriced for what the Braves other needs are IMO.

You have no idea how much more entertaining this blog would be without your tired whining. Every manager does things to win games and does things to lose games, so it especially amuses me to read people noting games that he has caused them to lose. No other manager has blown games? I’m disgusted with McGuirk, Schuerholz Wren etal keeping Cox around. I knew it would happen, but I’m still disgusted nevertheless.
