My school is about to choke
September 24th, 200911:00 pm
ROB! I missed you!
Answer my question, I wanna give you blog points…
Man the Pads are making the Rocks play some ball. They’re throwing their 5th pitcher already in the 8th…
C’mon San Diego.
P. W. Hjort
September 24th, 200911:01 pm
Both the pitcher and the batter played in the AL earlier this season,
Brandon from Warner Robins
JJ i gave up on that last question. I was thinkin Perry but idk
Pads do nothing…
September 24th, 200911:03 pm

Man, Steve Spurrier really needs a haircut
Down goes Ole Miss…..
Cha Cha Cha CHOKERS!
Cha Cha Cha CHOKERS!
steal again…keep up the pattern.
I can see everyone else has MLB Extra Innings…Yahoo still has it 3-3
September 24th, 200911:07 pm
Nope, there it goes…5-3
And USC beats #4 Ole Miss!
Richard impressed me again tonight…
Cmon Heath Bell
Jeffrey, Gamecast on my computer still has it as 3-1.
September 24th, 200911:08 pm
I have MLB.TV
The MLB Extra Innings package is a good deal……way better than the NFL Ticket. While I pay for both, I feel that I get more “bang for the buck” with the MLB package.
September 24th, 200911:09 pm
For me, Tulo. It’s close, though (PWH)
got to give Tulo some credit, at one time his home/away splits were way Coors field, but he has brought up his away stats lately. Pretty good player, hard to go wrong with either one. Tulo might have the better attitude I guessif you are an intangibles believer
C’mon MAKE EM PAY!!
September 24th, 200911:10 pm
Damn. SO close…
when I was a youngin’ (JJ)
when was that, yesterday?
September 24th, 200911:11 pm
Before I actually depart, I’d like to wish those well who were/are affected by recent flooding.
So sorry it happened.
Padres, my new 2nd favorite team in NL
September 24th, 200911:12 pm
Next city to have a MLB team?
My guess is Indy… Or Honolulu, I know the players would want it to be in Honolulu…
But Indy is the logical choice…
The game is a long ways from over. I dont have a lot of faith in that Padres bullpen. Plus the game is at Coors.
If the Padres can hold on, the Braves will be 3 out in the loss column. If the Braves cant sweep the Nationals this weekend, then we dont deserve a shot at the playoffs. However if we can sweep the Nationals……then it isnt unreasonable to expect the Cardinals to win at least 1, perhaps 2 games this weekend……..which would leave the Braves either 2 or 1 game out of the Wild Card with one week left.
I know that the Nationals have played us tough in the past. Yet the fact remains that the Nationals SUCK A$$. If the Braves cant mentally play these guys like we are supposed to…….then like I said before, we simply do not deserve a shot at the playoffs.
September 24th, 200911:13 pm
Just 5 more outs to go for the Pads…
September 24th, 200911:14 pm
Stop being a Donny Downer!
I wonder if Bobby is watching the game on iphone.
September 24th, 200911:15 pm
Braves finish off 7-3 or 6-4???
5 – 4
September 24th, 2009
ROB! I missed you!
what was the question
5-4….still need 5 outs.
Players on the west coast wouldn’t want to fly to Hawaii three times a year.
And players in Hawaii wouldn’t want to fly to California (let alone Atlanta or New York) for half their games.
September 24th, 200911:16 pm
Minus 50 blog points to Paul for being a jerk…
After tonight, the Rockies host the Cardinals for 3……the Brewers for 3……and then go to L.A. for the final 3. Their remaining 9 games are all tough games.
Meanwhile, gofer ball given up by the scrub Padres reliever. 5 outs to go, only a 1 run lead…now a runner on 1st.
We have to go into D.C. on a mission. Payback for all those games we shoulda won!
September 24th, 200911:17 pm
got juice? Rox do.
next ML team will be in Puerto Rico
It’s Debbie Downer.
Who gave up more Grand Slams?
A. Gaylord Perry
B. Frank Viola
C. Jim Kaat
D. Phil Niekro
Cubs take lead over SF
September 24th, 200911:18 pm
Sheeeeesh! Here come the Rox…..5-4.
I have no idea.
Paul is a man…
why do we think there will be a next MLB team?
September 24th, 200911:19 pm
If MLB were looking to expand possible markets would include Portland, Charlotte, Providence, Texas (multiple options), Indy, etc.. I don’t think MLB needs more teams, though. I would support shaving two teams and going back to 2 divisions/league (7 teams/division).
ItsAllGood…..the Braves need to finish at least 9-1 in order to have a realistic shot at catching the Rockies. We have 7 games against a TERRIBLE Nationals team. While the 3 games against the Marlins wont be easy, we are playing them at home. Again, it’s crunch time. If we cant take 2 of 3 from the Fish, then again, we dont deserve a shot at the playoffs.
It’s a sense of urgency. Sweep all 7 games against the Nationals……..take 2 of 3 from the Marlins. Simple as that.
Debbie Downer is universal regardless of gender.
Gamecast has now caught up. Geez.
September 24th, 200911:20 pm
It’s a sense of urgency
Ahh, Lentz is back.
September 24th, 200911:21 pm
Don’t you want to SEE the answer?
Or do yall want to BE losers?
You will all be A big fat loser!
My friend has double D’s…
STRIKE THREE CALLED!
5-4….. 4 more outs.
September 24th, 200911:22 pm
Whoever was knocking Connie Mack you need to understand something. I have read quite a bit about the guy. He taught his players to think for themself. His teams 1911-1914 were great. There are some who believe they through the 1914 series to the Braves. Due to money issues he traded everyone away. Look at these hall of famers. Eddie Plank, Chief Bender, Eddie Collins, Frank Baker. He also traded Stuffy McGinnis and Jack Barry. They did suck until the late twenties. He developed hall of famers Lefty Grove, Mickey Cochrane, Jimmie Foxx, Al Simmons. They took down those powerful Yankees.
ha ha JJ that was funny.
September 24th, 200911:23 pm
Lemme at em!
LEMME AT EM!!!
..the Braves need to finish at least 9-1 in order to have a realistic shot at catching the Rockies. Paul
I don’t think 9-1 is realistic at all considering they have just gone 8-2. They will probably cool off.17-3 is a pretty tough nut, no shame if they can’t do it. At least we are winning regularly now.
September 24th, 200911:24 pm
Tank you… (That a was me a fake Irish a accent, and that was Italian, and that was normal, as was that)
September 24th, 200911:25 pm
They took down those powerful Yankees. Rob
yes they did, but he was known as a cheap owner. His record is more a reflection of his stinginess than of his managing ability
September 24th, 200911:26 pm
If the Cubs win…
1. SF loses ground
2. Cardinals will play the Rockies harder!
Although corny I might be joining these BELIEVE posters on here if we start the weekend 3 1/2 out.
struck him out!!!!!!!
September 24th, 200911:27 pm
3 more outs…. would like to see an insurance run or two also…
He didn’t have the money the other owners owned. He was a former baseball player. His co-owner Ben Shibe had the money. Everything Mack owned was tied up in the team. Despite all of their success the were losing money in attendence during 11-14.
3 more outs
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
