The MLB Extra Innings package is a good deal……way better than the NFL Ticket. While I pay for both, I feel that I get more “bang for the buck” with the MLB package.

For me, Tulo. It’s close, though (PWH)
got to give Tulo some credit, at one time his home/away splits were way Coors field, but he has brought up his away stats lately. Pretty good player, hard to go wrong with either one. Tulo might have the better attitude I guessif you are an intangibles believer

The game is a long ways from over. I dont have a lot of faith in that Padres bullpen. Plus the game is at Coors.
If the Padres can hold on, the Braves will be 3 out in the loss column. If the Braves cant sweep the Nationals this weekend, then we dont deserve a shot at the playoffs. However if we can sweep the Nationals……then it isnt unreasonable to expect the Cardinals to win at least 1, perhaps 2 games this weekend……..which would leave the Braves either 2 or 1 game out of the Wild Card with one week left.
I know that the Nationals have played us tough in the past. Yet the fact remains that the Nationals SUCK A$$. If the Braves cant mentally play these guys like we are supposed to…….then like I said before, we simply do not deserve a shot at the playoffs.

After tonight, the Rockies host the Cardinals for 3……the Brewers for 3……and then go to L.A. for the final 3. Their remaining 9 games are all tough games.
Meanwhile, gofer ball given up by the scrub Padres reliever. 5 outs to go, only a 1 run lead…now a runner on 1st.

If MLB were looking to expand possible markets would include Portland, Charlotte, Providence, Texas (multiple options), Indy, etc.. I don’t think MLB needs more teams, though. I would support shaving two teams and going back to 2 divisions/league (7 teams/division).

ItsAllGood…..the Braves need to finish at least 9-1 in order to have a realistic shot at catching the Rockies. We have 7 games against a TERRIBLE Nationals team. While the 3 games against the Marlins wont be easy, we are playing them at home. Again, it’s crunch time. If we cant take 2 of 3 from the Fish, then again, we dont deserve a shot at the playoffs.
It’s a sense of urgency. Sweep all 7 games against the Nationals……..take 2 of 3 from the Marlins. Simple as that.

Whoever was knocking Connie Mack you need to understand something. I have read quite a bit about the guy. He taught his players to think for themself. His teams 1911-1914 were great. There are some who believe they through the 1914 series to the Braves. Due to money issues he traded everyone away. Look at these hall of famers. Eddie Plank, Chief Bender, Eddie Collins, Frank Baker. He also traded Stuffy McGinnis and Jack Barry. They did suck until the late twenties. He developed hall of famers Lefty Grove, Mickey Cochrane, Jimmie Foxx, Al Simmons. They took down those powerful Yankees.

I don’t think 9-1 is realistic at all considering they have just gone 8-2. They will probably cool off.17-3 is a pretty tough nut, no shame if they can’t do it. At least we are winning regularly now.

He didn’t have the money the other owners owned. He was a former baseball player. His co-owner Ben Shibe had the money. Everything Mack owned was tied up in the team. Despite all of their success the were losing money in attendence during 11-14.
