But you know what, I don’t give a blank. Tommy Hanson doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone at this point. If some sorry ass baseball writer thinks he’s not the Rookie of the Year for the National League because of this or any other game, I’m prepared to find them and kick their aforementioned you know what.
I don’t particularly like to give the Yankees and/or Red Sox any undue credit or acclaim (or any at all whatsoever) but last time I checked, JA Happ didn’t shut those two teams out in back to back starts.
Who cares if he didn’t face them, maybe he did maybe he didn’t. All I know is if he had, he would have got his @$$ kicked.

I am not a Bobby hater at all but with two weeks left and the Braves postseason hopes on life support Mccann has to pinch hit for Ross in that situation where he is the tying run. They might not have an opportunity to tie the game again. Ross is a solid backup but Mccann is an all star and swinging the bat well right now.

How many of you don’t understand why McCann is sitting this game out?
I agree to rest him during the season at times because he needs the rest,
to recharge for the long haul. But there were 14 games remaining coming
into today and the Braves slim chances of catchin Colorado are dwindling.
Why does he need the rest now….in 2-3 weeks he’ll have 4 months to rest
and recharge if they don’t make the playoffs. This is why fans criticize Cox.
He seems to have no clue what a “sense of urgency” actually is. McCann
is our best offensive player plus with LaRoche and Escobar out…we need
him even more. Dave, don’t you think these are legit reasons to question
Bobby’s ability to manage…are these questions even posed to him?
Somebody please challenge his stupid rationales for once! Please…?
