U Can Tell, if you dislike the store so much, there are 29 other stores that would welcome your business. That’s the great thing about MLB, find a store that you like to shop in, and one in which you like the products. Develop a loyalty, or just shop from store to store, whichever one you think has the best merchandise or bargains. Driving yourself crazy about the store you are in when there are others that offer similar merchandise will just send you to an early grave.

Funny how all the Bobby supporters say “he can stay as long as he wants” like they know what Wren is going to do for sure. None of us know what Wren is going to do (ask Glavine about that). My guess is he is waiting to see if Bobby pulls off the wild card. If he does then my guess is he is invited back next year and if not then I think Wren has a tough decision to make.
My point is Bobby supporters dont know anything more than those of us who want him gone so stop posting as if you have some top secret information.

Y’all just can’t stand anyone who doesn’t blindly dispise the Guy responsible for a good bit of this team’s success over the past twenty years. They pretty much sucked when he took them over as GM, acquired the players needed to turn the franchise around, led them to the most wins and the most success as manager in all of their history (the longest tenure in MLB, BTW) and has brought them back to respectability when his payroll was slashed and players he really needed not brought back or acquired until this past off sesaon. Of course, none of you could have done better (and likely no one in baseball, either) if you even had the ability to be whereBobby is to begin with.
You all act like they have failed because he’s there, yet most of us with any sense of reality realize that without him, the past several years could easily have been much worse than they were. Y’all act like this team is the Pirates or Royals-teams with no success for so long, they forgot what it was even like. The Braves have had three seasons of close to .500 baseball. They have been mediocre and THAT is a far cry from being anywhere near as bad as y’all seem to think. Bunch of spoiled 20 somethings who think winning is their God given right-NOT something that happens to most fans if they’re damned lucky and have little sense of what true failure or suckhood really is. Go ask a Cubs or Pirates fan about what frustration REALLY is.

I am truly surprised to see rants like the ones from U CAN TELL at 11:00 AM. Normally those are witnessed at 4:00 AM and it’s some completely drunk or wacked out individual that just can’t think straight. For it to happen at the time it did, U CAN, please lay off the “stuff” this early….. you soound like a raving maniac.

Top of the Sunday morning to ya. Tarp is on the field, what’s new. Don’t know what to tell you about the weather. Some said rain all day, some said a windown til 3:30 or 4. We’ll see.
Meantime, LaRoche is out of the lineup with a sore back. Escobar out with a sore elbow from getting hit by a pitch last night. McCann day off after night game.

Some people know why Bobby has been successful. He does not yield to immediate gratification, he tries to develope consistent roles. Why would anyone question his going to Soriano last night. We had a 6 run lead. It made me realize that his talent may be a little lacking. Blame him if you must, but reality is much different.

EntWhite Bood Cells-If only we had freaking stop signs that would occasionally STFU, it would be easier to remain silent. However, in view of the fact that the talking Stop Signs won’t shut up any time soon, I’ll go do something more productive- Almost anything else would be.
Go Braves. Keep the winning ways going. 6-0 or 6-4-who really cares? It’s the W in the correct column that really matters. Too bad some here can’t see the forest for the pine needles. Later.

It amazes me that the Bobby Bashers have created an almost perfect argument for his handling of the bullpen:
If he uses any of the fab 4 (Soriano, Gonzo, EOF or Moylan) he is overusing the pen.
If he uses any of the other pitchers in the pen, he is trying to lose the game.
It is a perfect argument for the Bashers, they can complain no matter what he does!!

Well, he is batting only .217 against lefties this year, and Lee is one of the toughest lefties around, and today is a DGANG…
Besides, last time they played against Lee, while BMac did hit a single off him, he also K’d twice.
That’s not to say I don’t want him to play, though.

Bobby has managed brilliantly since the AS break, the haters just cannot see it…
be interesting how he handles MFIKY in the next few days, but really outside of Moylan who will the haters trust to close out (given Gonzo’s back and MFIKY’s fatigue)… our 2nd tier bullpenners have NOT come through under pressure at all in ‘09… even the little dog has choked of late

This would not be the worst game in the world to see a rain out and play it at the end of the season if it matters.
Still, with three starters out, that line-up doesn’t look half bad. Since Brooks Conrad is the savior of the season, it should be OK.
McLouth, Chipper, and “I’m justa Caveman” need to man up and put some quality ABs out there.
Hanson needs to pitch like the ROY he might be and shut the Philllies down for 7, 8, or 9 innings.
If Tommy H has low pitches in a tight game, I wonder if BC leaves himm in to finish, given the maximum suckage coming out of the bullpen against the Phillies.

Random–I’ll give you that one. Hillman is pretty bad, too.
Nolie–I was referring to the fact that all season long, Bobby has used our top relievers in situations where there is absolutely no need to use them. Friday, we had only 1 of them available (and Bobby felt the need to save Moylan for a tie/lead situation rather than use him in a crucial situation to try to pull out the win in the bottom of the 8th/9th). So, does Bobby learn from that and try to keep his relievers fresh? No, he trots Soriano right back out there on Saturday with a 6-run lead. Why? Why is he still doing this? Because he wants Soriano to enter the game to start an inning? Does he really think we can’t hold a 6-run lead running someone else out there who doesn’t pitch as often?
I’ve always been a fan of Bobby, but he’s lost me this year.
