Don’t you just love Bobby Cox?Sitting and hoping. No matter how this ends, and it did end the Braves way,I doin’t understand how anyone would want Cox back.
Wayne I didn’t allude to any such thing. Look, I’m not going to play the Wayne Is A Victim game with you my friend. I know your playbook.
First you say something. Then you accuse some flacky of either calling you a name, misconstruing your political views, insulting your religious views, or in some combination of the sort. Then there’s back-and-forth drama. Then comes mysterious pop-up names popping up attacking poor Wayne, followed by testimonials from a few fellow bloggers (I know I’ve been one) each swearing that good ol’ Wayne is a swell guy.
If I thought you were a racist, I have zero problem telling you in a direct manner. I think you are an authoritarian but I’ve told you that before. So if you got something I said twisted, that’s on you. I’m not about to play your game.
But if you’d like to stick to baseball and answer the question I asked about defining attitude, I’m open to that. But you can keep the b.s. to yourself, I’m not interested.
As usual, Cox was right. A 6 run lead was enough reason to pitch Soriano. He just wanted to keep the fans in their seats for the 9th inning. Vazquez pitches a 7 inning 3 hit shutout while Soriano pitches an 8 batter 5 hit 4 run sorry excuse for an inning. Sheesh!!!
Okay, pals, I’ve been up since 5:30 this morning, so I am headed off to bed. Maybe my heart rate will return to normal now. See ya’ll tomorrow afternoon for the rubber match. Have a good night, all.
Damn, the Braves won. I was hoping Philly would score about 8 in the ninth so I could watch the board melt down into a nuclear pool of waste. Now I’ll just hafta besatisfied with the win. Not nearly as much fun. Ozzie was right, Javy is a total choker.
Yeah…and he STRUCK OUT!! Haha! Don’t fear the Reaper…
Sheesh…but that ninth inning was pretty bad. Good night…I was sitting there thinking, “Well, I didn’t mean I wanted BMac to get another AB if he didn’t come up in the eighth…”
Really stinks that Soriano blew the shutout…but at least Javy and the Braves got the win.
Fans at the game cheer, many if not most of the bloggers here pi** and moan. Who are the true fans?

Don’t matter if your closer had two fingers simply fall off his hand while he’s on the mound, it’s his game to lose!
Don’t matter if he has a 12 run lead and gives up 10 runs and still hasn’t recorded an out, it’s his game to lose!
So with that kind of logic, somebody please tell me again how is it that Bobby Cox is doing something so very special that it merits we all praise his greatness?
#6’s incompetency is so bad now I don’t even have to ask why Raffy was called upon to close out a 6-0 lead.oh and thanks for using Moylan in the 6-0 game tonight instead of using him last night to keep it at 3-1…thats what people call..Bullpen mismanagement.
Well firetheoldfool, there wasn’t much analyzing to do. You said Cox would be stupid to take out Soriano. About 2 minutes later you said he was stupid for leaving him in.

Soriano is paid big money to come in late in the game and get people out. He was god awful at his job tonight. But of course the geniuses on this blog are going to blame Bobby Cox for that. Whatever.
